17/100 Gone with The Wind by Margaret Mitchell

Start: 6.03.2025

I read this book for too long and my booking was canceled. I will come back to it soon, after finishing few other books. However, the books is a real masterpiece. Everything is well explained and detailed, the language used is easy to comprehend; the narrative is well structured. Highly recommended.

11/10 one of the best books I have read so far

18/100 Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka

Start: 2.04.2025
Finish: 9.04.2025

The metamorphosis was sort of okay but other short stories were absolutely meaningless and I regret reading them. Never in my life have I felt so much embarrassment after reading something. Literally waste of time.

19/100 The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks

20/100 Frankenstein by Mary Shelley

Start: 15.04.2025
Finish: 27.04.2025

A pretty decent book if you don't overthink some of the concepts stated in this book. The language is relatively high yet could be understood by learners with enough vocabulary. It questions some of the moral and ethical considerations of life and death, and calls the reader to think deeply on such matters as humanism, happines and the pursuit of knowledge.

165 pages + 350 pages of different pretexts, influenced fanfics and etc.

21/100 A Briefer History of Time by Stephen Hawking&Leonard Mlodinow

Start: 27.04.2025
Finish: 28.04.2025

A simplified version of the "A brief history of time", the book contains an accessible explanation of concepts such as black holes, curved space-time and wormholes. It's recommended to be sceptical about some ideas in this book that may contradict those explained in religious beliefs. Other than that, it gives pretty simple description to some of the interesting terms and events happening in our universe.

22/100 The Great Gatsby by F.Scott Fitzgerald

Start: 28.04.2025
Finish: 29.04.2025

A beautiful and yet sad story of one man’s lifetime dream. Reading this book with a long break after watching its movie feels amazing: I can literally visualize every scene from the book as if I was watching the movie. Both the writer and the producer nailed it!

23/100 The Best of Me by Nicholas Sparks

Start: 30.04.2025
Finish: 4.05.2025

After reading The Notebook, I became fond of Nicholas’ writing style and decided to read this book; let’s see what it has to offer!

So, despite being somewhat questionable in terms of moral values of the culture and society I grew up in in the beginning, the story does have a very sensible ending. The book is good and smooth.

24/100 Born a Crime by Trevor Noah

Start: undefined
Finish: 8.07.2025

An autobiography of Trevor Noah, a well-known american stand-upper. He has written about his way from an African “colored” boy to a globally famous comedian. A great book with some of the craziest truths of reality through the comedian lens.

He also was a host on Grammy btw.

25/100 Howl’s Moving Castle by Diana Jones

Start: 4.06.2025
Finish: 8.06.2025

A fascinating story of enchantment, love and light comedy. Despite watching its motion picture twice so far, I daresay the book has revealed many twist that were not familiar to me. This book tells us of wonderful adventures of an “ex-young” girl called Sophie, who seeks her fortune.

26/100 A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens

Start: 8.06.2025
Finish: 2.07.2025

Notwithstanding its difficult language and some political/historical background needed to understand some of the events in it, the book is impressive! Masked under the depiction of sorrow and dread of the period around the Reign of Terror, it is but a story of the tenderest and earnest love, a sacrifice and fidelity. A tale of two cities and many miserable souls. ~8/10

27/100 Dracula by Bram Stroker (audiobook)

Start: 6.06.2025
Finish: 30.06.2025

After not being able to find its hardcopy in our library, I decided to give the audiobooks a try, which I do not regret at all. Narrated by one of the best narrators (imho), the book served me the best pastime whenever I had some time to spare, be it traveling somewhere by public transport or just doing a break between tasks. The plot is well-thought and keeps you intrigued almost all the time. Mostly recommended if you want to get an in-depth understanding of one of the classics, which made a turn in the history of novels about vampires and the like, by introducing the legendary character: Count Dracula.

Duration: 15 hours give or take.
