My Town
I live at Ghatal in Paschim Medinipur. It is a small town. It is a municipality area. Our ward no is 14. It is beside the river Shilabati. There are many tall buildings. All roads are made of concrete. Almost all the dwellers are educated and cultured. There is no paddy field or agricultural land in our ward. There are few ponds. There are flower gardens at the roofs of the houses. Most of the dwellers are businessmen and officers. Some people work as labourers, vendors and toto drivers. There are a primary school, a high school, a post office, a library, a club, a gym, a park and different kinds of shops. Children play in the park. We live here happily and peacefully with our neighbours.
