Reminder: Missed Network Proposal Vote Penalty

Main Validators now get penalty when they fail to vote on a network proposal within 5 terms (1 term: 43120 blocks, approximately 24hrs).

Your bond will be slashed (ICX will be burnt) when you miss voting, so please don’t forget to vote.

The voting now includes Sub Validators (Sub P-Reps) that rotate into Main Validators (Main P-Reps), and it’s only applied to the Sub Validators who become Main Validators at the submission of the proposal.

We are not showing the snapshot in the Tracker yet, so we’ll let the Sub Validators know individually for now.

You can also see the Main Validators that need to vote by using getProposal in prep tools.

Hello everyone,

In order to activate BTP blocks on mainnet, all validators must register public keys. You can follow this tutorial for how to do it here:

Any validators that do not have their public key registered by 9/20 will be registered by the ICON Foundation. You can still re-register your public key subsequently if you want to after that.
