YFII...

High drama around this one today, as YFI gets forked to a China based YFII fork.

Called a scam, it was blocked by Metamask, the Etherscan contract was marked and Balancer removed the pool (they have since reinstated it).

The keys for YFII were burnt today, meaning no more minting of YFII (this is a possibility with YFI).

As a fork, the expectation is that it's development and strats would lag behind YFI.

Now being listed on a bunch of Chinese exchanges.

CryptoRank data shows, that the aggregated volume across all Ethereum futures markets crossed $10.14B on July 27.

This volume is the highest volume in 2020 and it represents the increase of ≈ 2000% since the beginning of the year.

As of today, the current session' aggregated volume dropped by 55% compared to the ATH volume and it's now $4.54B.

Ledger just released an announcement that contact/shipping details was leaked to a 3rd party. They claim funds are safu and judging by the scope that seems to be the case. That being said scammerd will most likely start pushing phising attempts in the coming days/weeks/months pretending to be ledger etc. Make sure to practice safe DD and security practices with a heightened awareness of these issues.
