Two admin accounts of Seele's Telegram turned out to be scammers and stole more than $2M by offering large allocations. Unprecedented! In fact, one of the scammers seems to be a member of the team.

'We will take responsibility to compensate those people who have been scammed' - claims the team. Also it seems like the account of Nick Smith was owned by an impersonator.

Almost all recent ICO's were hacked or scammed: Experty and BeeToken - phishing emails, Seele - Telegram scam, Apex - website hack, Origin Protocol - email database stolen from Slack.

Perhaps it is better to return to presale and crowdsale run via a smart contract and whitelists, which will be published in advance in all media channels, to avoid scams?

About 8 hours ago Sentinel Chain opened registration, and a few minutes later the team asked everyone to stop with going through KYC. Apparently, there was a suspicion of a security breach meaning that documents, phone numbers and all other info was stolen.

Considering the team's statement 'We have identified the individuals who have gained unauthorised access to our system. We have consulted our legal team and are working closely with the authorities on this matter' - seems like there indeed was a security breach and data theft.

What do we know... Another day - another hack.
