​​MakerDAO will shutdown Single Collateral Dai (SAI). Shutdown has been discussed since the launch of Multi Collateral Dai (DAI) in November 2019. There is no specific date of the shutdown at the moment but it can happen within next 30 days according to the current forum thread. MakerDAO is currently exploring the ways to cut expenses after the market drop last week. As it was announced previously MakerDAO is hosting MKR auction as of today to cover the losses from liquidation collateral auction when some liquidators were able to win the auction with 0 DAI bids due to lack of other bids.

​​Uniswap has launched V2 of its exchange. Uniswap is an Ethereum based protocol that is designed to facilitate automatic digital asset exchange between ETH and ERC20 tokens. Uniswap is completely on-chain, and individuals can make use of the protocol as long as they have MetaMask installed.

Uniswap V2 includes many new features and improvements. Among them in Uniswap V2, any ERC20 token can be pooled directly with any other ERC20 token. Wrapped Ether (WETH) is used instead of native ETH in the core contracts, although end users can still use ETH through helper contracts.
