*ICMDA would like to bring it to your attention that the mega Record event of Shiva Tandavam has been postponed to September 1st due to the Election Polling in Kasi On June 1st & Results will be announced on June 4th
We have received a notice that they will not allow people and also there will be less mode of commuting to the Kasi Vishwanatha temple during that time.
The officials have also announced a 144 Section curfew during this time which will make it difficult for everyone to travel. So considering these issues that we may have to face, we have decided to move the event to September 1st.
The reason we moved it to September is that
1. There is Election polling on 1st June in Kashi
2. The results will be announced on June 4th all across India
3. This may lead to 144 sections to face problems with Transportation and commute)
4. Sunday, Sep 1st, 2024 is Maasa Shivaratri.
5. Many participants have booked their flight and train tickets. We would like to give everyone some time to reschedule so that it doesn’t affect their participation.
We will follow up with everyone in detail further at the earliest.
