Because of the unexpected parental leave of the agency project leader & the head developer, the development is delayed 🕞

We are getting a lot of questions about what exactly is planned regarding an icf app?

Our focus as ICF Digital is 100% on the new website, where the official internal test phase starts this week in Zurich 🎉

At the same time, we have developed the ICF Hub (Central Data Management Platform - more info).

With this new foundation, we can connect all kinds of tools in the future - so we are prepared for whatever else we want to build 🤝

As an ICF, you can decide for yourself if you want to use an app. We have added various solutions that are already being used by ICFs to our tool list (incl. special movement discounts)

👀 PHISHING MAILS - BE AWARE 🚨

Phishing mails are in circulation regularly. Sometimes the sender mail addresses are very cleverly chosen, for example "susannabigger@gmail.com" or similar. 🫨

This is the awareness reminder for you and your team 🫡

For users:
👨‍💻 Check the sender's email address: Is it really an ICF or a familiar e-mail address?
👨‍💻 Do not open any links or attachments too quickly
👨‍💻 Check spelling and grammar: Such emails often contain errors or incorrect translations

For the IT team:
💻 Training: Train your staff and volunteers to increase security
💻 DMARC/SPF/DKIM: These domain configurations also help - if you need support here, please contact us
💻ICF mail addresses: ICF mail addresses should be standard. Consider providing volunteers with certain email addresses (e.g. @volunteer.icf-swb.de)

What is the ICF Hub? 👀

ICF Hub is part of the website project and through that also part of the Movement REACH BEYOND.

The ICF Hub is the new central data management platform of the ICF Movement. Primarily, it will be relevant for the website to create and manage celebrations, events, preachers etc.

How can I use it? 💪

🚨 CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD 🚨

Yes, you are reading right - we currently recommend that you change your passwords (social media, email, website, etc.). ‼️

Just in the last few weeks it became known that a lot of user data was stolen and published (over 16 billion user data with data from Apple, Google, Instagram, Facebook, Zoom etc.). 🤯


1. change passwords 🔀
At least 12 characters, do not reuse passwords, don't use words and add a special character

2. activate two-factor authentication 🔐
For as many accounts as possible, preferably for all, this should be mandatory for admin users

3. use password manager 🏰
Increases security, provides structure, easier sharing/centralized management) -> Our recommendation is 1Password

4. register at https://haveibeenpwned.com/notifyme 📧
You will be notified if one of your accounts is affected (if the data is public)

We don't know exactly who or which accounts are affected, but we prefer to be preventive and help you to be safer on the road. 🤝
