🤝 CHURCH MANAGEMENT SYSTEM - WHAT SHOULD I USE? 👨💻
In 2017/2018, we as a movement communicated a recommendation for the church management system “Elvanto.” Great product, special ICF discount, and even German as a language option. 🎉
Elvanto has since been sold and has not been further developed for some time. 😢
For this reason, we as a movement are currently searching for a new tool that we could recommend:
⭐️ We have evaluated over 25+ tools
⭐️ We have currently 3 finalists
⭐️ We have a team that tests the new tools (ICF SWB, Munich, Rhein-Main & Herrenberg)
Whats next? 🤝
👉 You can still use Elvanto (There is no official end-of-life). It is still a very good tool!
👉 You are in decision process for a new tool? Contact us so we can update you on our progress

⚠️ FAKE ACCOUNTS ⚠️
Currently, there seems to be an increase in fake accounts on Telegram (especially Leo Bigger & Tobias Teichen) that message people, ask for donations, etc. 🙏
Here's what you can do and communicate to your teams:
1. Raise awareness and communicate in your channels & teams 📰
2. Report & block fake accounts immediately 🛑
3. Train teams & people: Pay attention to the correct spelling of names, Leo & Tobi never make direct donation requests, etc. 🎓
4. If possible, set Telegram groups to private and not public (this allows anyone to find the group and see the usernames) 🔒
5. Adjust Telegram settings (privacy & security) -> Phone number visible only to contacts or no one 🔐
The same principles also apply to Instagram & Co.

But take advantage of this situaton and increase your Elvanto security:
🔑 Use secure passwords
(8-12 characters, no words, upper and lower case letters with numbers and special characters)
🔐 Activate 2 factor for Admins (at least)
