William Lloyd Garrison and Rosa Parks demonstrated great personal FORTITUDE by demanding an end to unjust laws. While most Americans accepted slavery, Garrison boldly demanded the immediate and unconditional emancipation of all slaves. Although initially ignored, Garrison persevered and lived to see President Lincoln issue the Emancipation Proclamation. Rosa Parks also illustrates the principle that FORTITUDE is needed to achieve difficult goals. While most Americans accepted segregation, Rosa refused a bus driver's order to give up her seat to a white passenger. Her historic action helped strengthen the Civil Rights Movement.

سلام من امروز ظهر در سازمان سنجش امتحان دادم سنتر خيلي منظم و خوب بود
ريدينگ در حد tpo ها بود اوليش يادمه كه در مورد تفاوت چشم و نحوه ديدن انسان ها و حشرات بود دوتاي ديگش يادم نيست ولي اسون بودن

ليستيگ يكم سخت بود مخصوصا يكي از لكچرها كه لهجه داشت .من ليسنينگم لانگ شد.
اسپيكينگ اول: اگه قرار باشه يه كلاس science بردارين انتخابتون چيه كه من health & nutrition انتخاب كردم بقيه گزينه ها يادم نيست

من امروز ساعت 12:30 امتحان داشتم توی سنتر امیربهادر.

🏢 امیربهادر سنتر خوب و واقعا منظمیه و برخورد کادر اجراییش خوب و روحیه بخشه حتی. البته یه کم بیش از حد مقرراتیه که میتونه اذیت کنه. مثلا اجازه نمیدن مداد و خودکار از خودت ببری سر جلسه. ولی در کل سنتر قابل قبولیه. دم به دیقه هم واسمون آرزوی موفقیت میکردن! 😅

🏁 امتحان ما ساعت 12 یعنی نیم ساعت زودتر از اون چیزی که قرار بود شروع شد. من لیسنینگ لانگ بهم خورد درحالی که بعضی بچه های دیگه ریدینگشون لانگ بود.

✔️ ریدینگ ها متوسط بودن. تقریبا در حد tpo ها. نمیشه گفت سخت و پیچیده بودن. ریدینگ اول من تقریبا کم حجم با پاراگراف های کوتاه بود و وقت زیاد اوردم. حتما اگه وقت زیاد آوردین، بیش از حد روی ریدینگ اول و دوم مانور اضافی ندین و سریع رد بشین که شاید ریدینگ سوم طولانی باشه.مثل اتفاقی که امروز افتاد. ریدینگ سومم سخت تر و طولانی تر بود و به نسبت وقت بیشتری میخواست.

✔️ لیسنینگ ها به هیچ وجه با tpo ها قابل مقایسه نبود. چه از نظر طولانی بودن لکچرها و چه از نظر سخت بودن سوالات و مخصوصاااا نزدیک بودن وحشتناک گزینه ها به هم. البته شاید چون من کاملا نفهمیدم لکچرها رو اینجوری حس کردم که گزینه ها نزدیک به همن. ولی در هر صورت بخش لیسنینگ به اتفاق نظر همه بچه ها سخت ترین بخش امتحان امروز بود. در حدی که یه نفر 7 تا از سوال های یه پارت رو بعلت کمبود وقت شانسی همه رو گزینه ب زده بود! نکته مهم درباره لیسنینگ اینکه اولین کانورسیشن عینا یه لکچر بود. یعنی استاده برای دانشجوی مراجعش کاملا یه لکچر طولانی رو توضیح داد. 😐 چیزی که توی tpo ها معمولا دیده نمیشد. و نکته دوم اینکه اولین لکچر امتحان بریتیش بود. بد هم بریتیش بود! واااقعا خیلی سخت میشد فهمید دقیقا داره چی میگه. با اون لهجه ش 😡😕
برای همین شروع لیسنینگ ها آدم رو نا امید میکرد.

1⃣ تفاوت چشم انسان ها با چشم حشرات بخصوص زنبور عسل، میگفت که زنبور ها اولا میتونن اشیایی که با سرعت خیلی زیاد حرکت میکنه رو با جزییات دقیق ببینن و ثانیا محدوده طول موج هایی که میتونن ببینن از انسان وسیع تره که از این ویژگیشون برای تشخیص دادن ماده غذایی روی گل هایی که ماورا بنفش ساطع میکنن بهره میبرند.

2⃣ درباره یه بندر تجاری در جنوب شرق آسیا و عواملی که باعث شده این بندر از نظر تجاری و اقتصادی موفق بشه. دلایلش هم اینا بودن: امنیت راه های دریایی، داشتن انبارهای زیرزمینی واسه نگهداری کالاها، قانونمندی و نظم توی تجارت و البته صادرات و واردات ادویه و پارچه از هند و چین.

3⃣ درباره ریشه و منشا خیلی از گیاهان که امروزه روی زمین رشد میکنند ولی اول توی آب های تازه و جریان رودخونه ها بوجود اومدن. و همچنین ویژگی هایی که این گیاهان در طول زمان بدست آوردن تا با شرایط خشک زمین (نسبت به رودخونه و...) خودشون رو تطبیق بدن. از جمله: شبکه آبرسانی داخل گیاه از ریشه به سمت برگ ها، سوراخ هایی که روی برگ ها هستن و به موقع باز و بسته میشن برای جذب دی اکسید کربن و...

⭕️ کانورسیشن ها:

1⃣ یه دانشجوی اکولوژی که سر نوشتن یه گزارش از یه فیلد تریپ واسش سوال پیش اومده بود. رفت پیش استادش و استاده واسش یه لکچر سنگین رو کامل توضیح داد 😐

2⃣ یه دانشجوی دیگه که میخواست لوازم خوابگاهشو انبار کنه یا بفروشه چون داشت فارغ التحصیل میشد و اون آقاهه تو دانشگاه بهش گفت بده خیریه!! ثوابم داره 😁

3⃣ دانشجویی که میخواست بره عضو ارکستر دانشگاهشون بشه ولی از قضا اون فلوت میزد و گروه موزیک فعلا فلوت زن نمیخواست. و آقاهه بهش گفت برو توی گروه های موسیقی داخل کمپس اونجا شاید بهت نیاز باشه.

⭕️ لکچرها :

1⃣ اینکه چجوری باکتری ها روی آب و هوا میتونن تاثیر بذارن (تا جایی که من فهمیدم البته!!!)

2⃣ اینکه چجوری توی اداره ها برای افزایش راندمان کارمندان بتونیم از نور طبیعی خورشید استفاده کنیم یا به شکل مصنوعی اون رو تولید کنیم.

3⃣ اینکه چجوری دو تا روش جدید توی باستان شناسی با هم تونستن پرده از اسرار بزرگترین هرم توی مصر بردارن.

4⃣ درباره یه تءوری که بیان میکرد منظومه شمسی چجوری شکل گرفته. یه توده بزرگ غبار و سنگ که متلاشی میشه و کم کم سیاره ها رو شکل میده.

5⃣ درباره اینکه کشاورزی چجوری از خاورمیانه به اروپا گسترش یافته. این که علم کشاورزی منتقل شده یا خود کشاورزا مهاجرت کردن، که با تحقیقات روی DNA یافته های باستانی معلوم شده فرض دوم درسته.

6⃣ درباره عواملی که روی مسیر مهاجرت پرنده ها توی امریکا اثر میذاره شامل آب و هوا، منابع تغذیه، جریان بادها و...

🗣 اسپیکینگ

1⃣ اگه قرار باشه یکی از موارد زیر رو انتخاب کنی به عنوان یه کورس اجباری علوم پایه کدوم رو انتخاب میکنی چرا؟
انرژی و محیط زیست / علوم تغذیه / سومیش رو یادم نمیاد 😕

2⃣ بعضی ها ترجیح میدن تنهایی برن خرید بعضی دیگه با خانواده یا دوستان. شما کدوم رو ترجیح میدین و چرا؟

3⃣ یه اداره ای توی دانشگاه که ورک شاپ های مختلفی میذاشت واسه دانشجوها تصمیم گرفته بود به جای اینکه اعلامیه ها رو تو روزنامه چاپ کنه ایمیل کنه. دانشجوهه هم موافق بود با این تصمیم چون اولا دیگه کسی روزنامه نمیخونه یا اگه بخونه سرسری میخونه. دوما هرکی نخواد میتونه از دریافت ایمیل انصراف بده. یه دلیل دیگه هم گفت نامرد! که من نفهمیدم! 😞

4⃣ درباره ecology trap بود که یعنی حیوانات یه سری نشانه هایی برای زیستگاه های خوب واسه خودشون در نظر میگیرن ولی فعالیت های انسانی نشونه ها رو خراب میکنه و حیوانات از بین میرن. مثلا یه حشره که واسه تخم گذاری به آب نیاز داره با دیدن نوری که سطح آب بازتاب میشه میفهمه یه جا آب هست و میره اونجا تخم گذاری میکنه ولی اخیرا جاده کشیدن و نور به آسفالت میخوره و بازتاب میشه و اون حشره هه اشتباهی میره وسط خیابون تخم گذاری میکنه!

5⃣ قطار دانشجوهه خراب میشه و دیر میرسه دانشگاه و جلسه با استادشو از دست میده. یا باید بعد از ظهر جلسه بذارن دوباره که خب همزمان با نمایش یه فیلمه تو کمپس. یا اینکه فردا به جای استاد با دوستش جلسه بذاره اشکالاتشو بپرسه.

6⃣ دو روشی که دوتا شرکت میتونن همکاری کنن یا اصطلاحا cross-promotion داشته باشه. یکی اینکه این تبلیغ اونو بکنه اون تبلیغ اینو! بعد تخفیف هم بدن. یکی دیگه هم اینکه دو تا شرکت اگه مرتبط باشن تو یه جای مشترک شعبه بزنن. مثلا یه هتل و یه رستوران کنار هم.

رایتینگ

1⃣ درباره دلایل احتمالی کاهش جمعیت یه گونه پستانداران توی اروپا که دلایل نویسنده و توجیهی که استاده سر کلاس میگفت واسه رد کردنش اینجوری بود:

🔸بخاطر فعالیت های انسانی محیط زیست خراب شده و بیشتر رودخونه ها خشک شدن چون بیشتر آب رو برای مصارف شرب و کشاورزی مصرف میکنن. ⬅️ دلیل نمیشه. چون مثلا توی فنلاند کاهش جمعیت حیوونه از 1920s دیده شده درحالی که تا 1950s آب کشیدن از رودخونه ها گسترش نیافته بود.

🔸بعلت گرم شدن هوا یه گونه دیگه به منطقه اضافه شده، این حیوونه با اون گونه جدیده cross-breeding میکنه ولی گونه های هیبریدی که بدنیا میان نمیتونن دیگه تولید مثل کنن ⬅️ نچ! چون تا وقتی تعداد کافی از اون حیوون اولیه باشه نمیرن با یه گونه جدید تولید مثل کنن. فقط وقتی cross-breeding کردن که جمعیت اون حیوون اولیه کم شده بود، بنابرین این cross-breeding نتیجه کاهش جمعیته نه دلیل بوجود اومدن اون.

🔸 منبع اصلی غذای این حیوونا یه نوع ماهیه که اون خیلی کم شده. بعبارتی کمبود غذا داشتن این حیوونا که جمعیتشون کم شده ⬅️ درست نیست چون توی شمال اروپا که سرد تره این ماهیه همچنان فراوان یافت میشه ولی جمعیت اون حیوونا بازم کم شده. یه چیزی هم برای نواحی گرم تر گفت که متاسفانه نفهمیدم 😕

2⃣ بعضیا معتقدن که نوجوون های بزرگ (بین سن 16 تا 19 سال) باید یه شغل پاره وقت داشته باشن که در قبالش پول دریافت میکنن، در حالی که بقیه میگن بچه ها توی این سن فقط باید برن مدرسه و تحصیل کنن. شما چی فک میکنین؟
