Dear students,
According to the new decree of Rector (you can see it attached) based on the current government regulations, the University must provide the maximum number of classes offline, adhering to approved security measures with the exception lectures, which can be conducted in distance mode (online). Additionally, all the students must study in the same mode therefore all the practical classes in the upcoming semester will be conducted in the offline mode.

Please note that we are planning to dedicate a significant part of September to conducting lecture classes only (no practical classes). We will inform you soon when exactly practical classes will start.

We understand that some students may have difficulties arriving in Ukraine to attend offline classes. One option is to freeze your studies (take academic leave) which you can do by writing to pd@knu.ua (they will inform you about the conditions for freezing).

According to your last Mobility Learning Agreements, you have not passed three subjects, which other (non-mobility) students studied at the Institute of Biology and Medicine. You must pass these subjects by 25th of September in order to fulfill the study plan for the last semester. Please be aware that non-fulfillment of the study plan leads to expulsion. Dear students,
We would like to estimate how many students are ready to study in Georgia this semester under a mobility program taking into account that practical classes will be conducted offline as was announced in the previous messages. 🛑 We cannot guarantee that we will be able to open this mobility program because the agreement with the Georgian university has already expired therefore this form has to be filled in only by students who cannot possibly reach Ukraine due to migrational issues (inability to receive a visa to Ukraine) and will be forced to leave our university because of offline classes.

🟡Dear students,
In response to your requests, the university administration allowed to make online classes for those students who cannot reach Ukraine or are reaching Ukraine with a delay.

🔴IMPORTANT: Each and every student will still have to take the exams in the exam session offline. The exam session in the first semester will be conducted from 13 January to 2 February 2025. To pass the examination session live, you can either come to Kyiv, or pay an additional educational service and come to another country, particularly Moldova, and pass the exams live with our professors.
The same applies to the second semester and taking the OSCI exam.
