Supreme Court Questions CBSE's Third Language Policy!
⚖️ During a hearing, Justice B.V. Nagarathna raised concerns over introducing a third language in Class 9, saying it adds unnecessary stress when students are already preparing for Class 10 board exams.
🗣 The judge observed:
"Don't start a new language in 9th. Start it in 6th."

The remarks came while the Supreme Court was hearing the Tamil Nadu Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) case.

The Court also clarified that the three-language policy does not specifically mandate Hindi.

📚 The matter has been listed for further hearing on August 11.
