Dear All, how's reading going on? are you enjoying "Eat that Frog?"
You may share us your favorite quotes from the book or anything that you like about it.
“The hardest part of any important task is getting started on it in the first place. Once you actually begin work on a valuable task, you seem to be naturally motivated to continue.”
“Anytime you stop striving to get better, you're bound to get worse.”
“Refuse to allow a weakness or a lack of ability in any area to hold you back. Everything is learnable. And what others have learned, you can learn as well.”
How about you?

We see a lot of new comers here, welcome to iRead virtual book club!
Here’s what we do, based on our members choice (through voting) we select and provide soft copy of books. Then we hold live book discussion once every two to three weeks. In addition to that we encourage people to share what they learn here in the chat group.
Our objective is to encourage the Ethiopian youth to to read with us and learn a new perspective of life, needless to say that it’s a great way to develop English language skill.
Welcome again to the club and below are soft copy of the books we have shared so far. Let’s know in the discussion group if you have any questions. Enjoy!

Hi Guys, let's share some uplifting quotes from books we have read. Here are some from the very powerful book "I'm Malala."
“We realize the importance of our voices only when we are silenced.” ― Malala Yousafzai, I Am Malala: The Story of the Girl Who Stood Up for Education and Was Shot by the Taliban
“One child, one teacher, one book, one pen can change the world.”
“Let us pick up our books and our pens, they are the most powerful weapons.”
“Once I had asked God for one or two extra inches in height, but instead he made me as tall as the sky, so high that I could not measure myself.”
“Life isn't just about taking in oxygen and giving out carbon dioxide.”
How about yours, share us in the chat box your favorite quotes or any lessons you learned from books you have read.

Have a beautiful Saturday morning to you all dear readers! We want to really appreciate your active participation in the chat box, please keep it up. After we saw the energy, we want to take the participation to another level.
In addition to reading, we want to encourage people to speak. The plan is please record a maximum of 1 minute video of yourself talking about your favorite book and why. Then send it directly to Menbere (you can find her in the chat box).
The video may include your name, mention you're a member of iRead virtual book book club of American Spaces Ethiopia, the name of your favorite book and written by who, why you like it. Once we compile, we plan to feature you hopefully on our social media pages and share it here to the group as well as use it to encourage other people in different American spaces to read when we re-open.
Start now, share us your one minute videos until the coming Friday. If you have any questions, we're available in the group discussion channel. 😍
