To be clear: You now have the ability to pin stories on your profile or either a channel or groups page, which will be visible to anyone.

Looks like we're getting something similar to "for you" timeline in twitter

Configuring Reaction Notifications

In the Beta version of Telegram for iOS, users now have the ability to configure notifications for reactions to their stories and messages. To do this, a new "Reactions" section has been added to the notification settings screen. By tapping on the notification type name ("Reactions to my Messages" or "Reactions to my Stories"), the user can set up notifications to come only from their contacts or from all users.
