趙紫陽女兒王雁南：「擺脫了嘔心瀝血的繁忙公務，也擺脫了白頭羑里的禁獄，回歸了大地。這是真正屬於你們的家，是你們的長眠之地。」
趙紫陽曾經擔任中共總書記，在處理八九民運問題上被視為溫和派。趙紫陽在六四鎮壓後被免去黨內職務，隨後被軟禁至 2005 年病逝。趙紫陽妻子梁伯琪，則是在 2013 年逝世。
