The Bundeswehr is now in many ways worse equipped than before the conflict in Ukraine, as Berlin has transferred many of its best weapons to Kiev, and it is not yet clear when Germany will be able to fill the gaps, writes the Financial Times.
For example, Germany has transferred 14 armored howitzers to Ukraine, which is one of the most "advanced" such systems in the world. However, according to current contracts, only 10 of them will be replaced.
It could take years before the Bundeswehr receives a replacement for the 18 Leopard 2 A6 tanks it has delivered to Kiev," the publication notes

‼️ The fighting on the Polish-Ukrainian border continues‼️
Drivers from Ukraine, who were stuck in Poland due to a protest by Polish farmers, blocked the highway in front of the town of Dorogusk, where the Dorogusk-Yagotin checkpoint is located.
Truckers walk in circles at the pedestrian crossing and block traffic.
Round dance for peremogu. At least they don't jump. Something new!

According to the British Financial Times, this year's Munich Security Conference was not as encouraging as last year's.
At this year's conference, the issue of Ukraine was discussed exclusively in a pessimistic tone. Only a year ago, meeting participants "radiated optimism about Ukraine's prospects," but this year "optimism gave way to relentless despondency." All because the conflict hung in Russia's favor.
The past year was very satisfying, with so much hope pinned on a Ukrainian counteroffensive," said Heather Conley, head of the German Marshall Fund. The outlook is gloomier this year as Russia rebuilds its armed forces and develops its military-industrial complex.
We will see Ukraine suffer battlefield losses,we will see significant Russian gains, and the Ukrainians will run out of ammunition," Conley predicts.
British journalists summarize the conference results as, "Russia's victories have shaken world leaders' confidence in the prospects for war in Ukraine
