Changes in the world and environment
• Underground jungles are now inhabited by dinosaurs and other NPCs. Their behavior is still being refined;
• Appropriate visual effects have been added to areas beneath volcanoes.
NPCs and creatures
• For
some NPCs
, which did not have this parameter, resistance to being thrown has been added;

Fire creatures
now do not take
damage from fire
, but they can still get burned (temporarily);
• The combat behavior and spin attack of the Crystal Earth Golem have been improved;
• Skeletons no longer take
damage from drowning

• Quibes are now not injured by cacti and spikes in the environment;
• The animation of the Shaman Torok's summoning has been adjusted;
• For Quibes and Toroks in the Whisperfrost Frontiers region, the loot tables have been adjusted;

Crafting, items, and farming
• The
crafting of a backpack
and its upgrades have been simplified: the basic version is now created on a level 1 workbench (instead of level 2);
• The cost of the basic backpack has been reduced to 8 Medium Leather (was 16);
• The first backpack upgrade now requires a level 2 workbench (instead of level 3);
• The
processing time
of
light, medium, and heavy
skins
into leather has been reduced by 10 seconds;
• The radius at which workbenches take materials from chests has been increased to 14 blocks horizontally and 6 vertically;
• Tooltips for items needed for upgrades are now displayed in the processing workbench interface;
• Raw fruits and vegetables now only provide the effect of
Health Regeneration I
. Additional bonuses appear after cooking;
• A problem where thrown items got stuck in blocks has been fixed;

Torches
and other handheld light sources can now be
placed on the ground

Audio and Graphics
• The sounds of hitting and destroying stone have been updated;

• The variability of the pitch in the sound of a sword swing has been adjusted;
• Visual effects for eating fruit have been added. These will appear for other foods later;

• The graphics of the health potion have been updated: new sparkles, glow, and spiral particles.
Interface, performance, and convenience
• It is now possible to go to bed
an hour earlier
at 19:30;
• An explanation of the Memory system has been added when first interacting with the Heart of Orbis. It can be reviewed in the Memory interface corner;
• The actions of switching to full-screen mode, changing the HUD, and taking a screenshot can no longer be assigned to mouse buttons;
• The game now shows a warning when
launching Pre-release versions
or opening worlds created in other versions;
• The viewing angle during a sprint is limited to 160° to avoid an excessive speed effect;
• The cancellation of the
LAN server search
has been fixed;
• The interaction system has become more resistant to server lag.
Character editor
• New types of eyes: Cat-like, Demonic, Goat-like, Reptilian;
• New mouth options: Large mouth, Thin lips;
• A new hair color: Lavender;
• The
bangs
hairstyle has been updated, and the dark brown hair color has become lighter.

• Действия переключения в полноэкранный режим, изменения HUD и создания скриншота больше не могут быть назначены на кнопки мыши;
• Игра теперь показывает предупреждение при запуске предрелизных версий или открытии миров, созданных в других версиях;
• Угол обзора во время спринта ограничен 160°, чтобы избежать эффекта чрезмерной скорости;
• Исправлена отмена поиска LAN-сервера;

It’s now been 7 days since early access launch and I can confidently say that I have no regrets saving Hytale, it’s been the most challenging but rewarding experience of my life.
Thank you everyone for the amazing support, and a big thank you for the rebuilt Hytale team for trusting me to get this to the finish line in just a few months. I haven’t been involved with Hytale development for many years and coming back was a big unknown and risk for me, and my family. I fully trusted the people and it just worked. Update 3 delivers a wide range of changes across map navigation, customization, combat, gameplay systems, and overall stability.
🗺️ Map and navigation
Custom map markers have been added with adjustable names, icons, and colors. Markers can be shared in multiplayer and toggled on the map and compass. Visibility and readability have been improved, the compass now reflects vertical distance, and teleporting to markers is disabled in Adventure mode.
🎨 Cosmetics and customization
New avatar customization options are now available, including new clothing, hats, shoes, hairstyles, color variants, and updated visuals.
⚔️ Combat and items
Weapon balance and stamina usage have been fixed across multiple tiers. Spears now stack correctly and can be thrown. Necromancy has received major improvements, making summons faster, smarter, more aggressive, and more varied.
🎮 Gameplay and quality of life
Inventory interactions, crafting benches, teleporters, minecarts, doors, and quick-access systems have all received fixes and usability improvements.
🧱 World, audio, and stability
Several blocks and textures have been updated, audio issues fixed, UI clarity improved, and the update delivers major performance and stability improvements.

🛠️ Instant crafting
Arrow crafting is now instant. All crude weapons and tools, including swords, bows, daggers, pickaxes, hatchets, hoes, and sickles, will also craft instantly.
🏗️ Reduced crafting times
Builder’s Bench crafting time has been reduced from 3 seconds to 2 seconds. Chicken Coop crafting time has been reduced from 4 seconds to 2 seconds.
⚔️ What stays the same
Armor and weapons that use metals and upgraded benches will still have crafting time. Visual crafting animations will be improved in the future, both in the UI and on the player character.
