I've had enough, and I want to tell everyone the real reason why HyperHLE was shut down.

The main reason wasn't the code or technical issues. The real reason was that out of six developers, I was the only one left.

And you know why?

Because of this community. You kept flooding the developers' DMs so much that they eventually got fed up and left the project.

This is honestly the worst community I've ever been a part of.

You can't even use AI coding agents properly. Instead, every single one of you keeps throwing hate at me.

You could've actually helped the project by using AI agents to contribute code, but instead it's always, "Please fix my favorite game."

We've already given you the tools, but apparently that's still not enough. Somehow I'm expected to do everything myself

the new release was built using several pull requests from community contributors. i also fixed an issue where some games couldn't read all of their game files.

a month ago, i announced that i was shutting down the project. this release doesn't mean the project is fully back—it's just something i decided to put together, nothing more.

I was able to launch the game and the menu is fully functional.

The release will be soon if I fix the game at this rate.
