The Legendary Lumberjack, The God of the Northwoods, Mr. Minnesota, The American Hercules, America's Greatest Legendary Figure The One the Only Paul Bunyan!

Today is the Day to Celebrate Paul Bunyan who created the Great Lakes, Pike's Peak, Yellowstone Falls, North and South Dakota, The Missouri and the Mississippi Rivers, The Lakes of Minnesota among many other creations and escapades. No other figure save perhaps Santa Claus has such a breadth of tales and adoration as Ol' Paul Bunyan.
His statues dot the countryside, his visage is the standard for the masculine american man, he fought other giants, had a Crew of Magical Smiths and Time Warping Accountants, a Herd of Oxen lead by his great and ever present companion Babe The Big Blue Ox, The God of the Northwoods the great and powerful... and admittedly darn Funny Paul Bunyan.-TLK

The Departure of Paul Bunyan

...And it is said by folks that eventually Paul Bunyan moved his lumber camp far to the northern skies where he and his friends ruckuss and play their days away having left the lands in sorrow as the people he once so admired turned to machines and modernization in favor of living with the land. But you can still see him for when they roughhouse and play Paul, Babe, and all the rest their joy is so bright that the very sky lights up from the North and we call it The Northern Lights.

See that, that is Paul letting you know it'll all be alright. Many folks have found their way to his camp over the years and they join him in their joys, no longer bound by the mechanization of modern sorrow.

Ethnic Faith

If there is one thing that should be known about Hyperborean Radio. It is that we are and always have been about the revival of Ethnic Faith. We are not trying to revive an invented Proto-religion or push a political agenda. Our people are Our Religion. Our People are Our Spirituality.

You may have noticed we have not been posting as much Lore lately. This is partly to focus on goals but more so it is because we have been preoccupied with something more important and insidious. The sheer corruption of Ethnic Faith.

Too often we and likely you as well have seen people who claim to follow ethnic faith but oddly have done 1 for 1 exchanges of Christian and pagan figures, too often have we seen people use their dreams as if they hold revealed truth masquerading as Holy Men in the style of Moses, too often have we seen claims of Hinduism is our ethnic faith pretending Vishnu=Odin or some other obvious attempt to corrupt our ethnic faith. Too often has the esoteric symbol of whosit-whatsit been represented as if it is the entire point of our Old Ways. Too often have we seen people reject evidence in favor of whatever is in fashion at the time.

As a result of seeing this over and over again we have come to the conclusion most "Pagans" aren't pagan. They are Occultists. They are Christians. They are Hindus. Masquerading as Followers of Ethnic Faith to convert you. Many aren't even such malicious things merely hollow "Plastic Pagans" focusing more on Paganism as a fad than anything else. Quick to fall off when their budget for new Tattoos and Viking Jewelry runs dry.

We want Ethnic Faith to be revived. We want our Old Ways to return. Yet repeatedly we see these people whether out of ignorance, naivete or maliciousness push these lies that are supported neither in Lore nor History. So it is time we did something about it. We know we are not the only ones to notice these issues, these problems, this Corruption.

To those who see it too, you are not alone.

You Matter

We like to frequently thank those who choose to follow us, because You Matter!
You keep us doing what we do and putting in real effort not just online but in Our Day to Day Lives and interactions with people on the street. What is it you do? You show us that all of our effort is worthwhile and not falling on deaf ears.
We're well aware that what we say is not always popular and if we merely wanted to ride the fad of modern paganism we could, but what would be the point? That doesn't help our people or return us to our nature. That approach only digs us deeper into the mire of the modern wastelands.
On occasion like anyone else doing something similar we start fretting over numbers... subs not climbing, subs dropping, view counts dropping or like in our latest podcast Neighborhoods 12% of the audience unable to even make it through 3 seconds of the show. Needless to say these can weigh heavily on us from time to time.

BUT THEN! We get supporters on Our Patreon or someone procures something from Our Store. Our views go up and interactions both in direct messages and post to post go up! It shows that while we may be fighting an uphill battle that it is appreciated.

By the way, while 12% may not make it through the first 3 Seconds of Hyperborean Radio (Uncensored) the good news is that an unprecedented 78% of those who do are now tough enough.
So here's to the Toughest of the Toughies!
