Paul Bunyan & The North Pole

Paul Bunyan has many tales of what became of him after the large trees he cut were gone, some tales hold that he retired to the Arctic where he and Babe roughhouse creating the Northern Lights. In other tales Paul lives in the Arctic in a cabin enjoying his retirement, aside from the occasional visitor. In one such case the US government looking for a weapon to end WW2 came to Paul who jumped to the sun and asked her for a bit of her flame, when he discovered what it would be used for Paul decided against it and gave it back to the Sun. While even before he "retired" Paul would make trips to the arctic, once in his fight with the Whistling river herding a blizzard from the Arctic to create a chain to defeat the River god, while doing this he also made many of the icebergs in the Arctic. He also once cut the North Pole down for firewood during the year of two winters. Paul never did have a problem with the cold of the Arctic, and is happy being Santa's next door neighbor.
