Apollo, Wolves, and Ravens
Apollo is one of the most well known Greek Gods but he's usually boiled down to Youthful Sun God. He is much more taking part in Prophecy, Medicine, Music, etc. He is considered the Father of the Muses and Asclepius, as well as many others. He was even said to have come down from Hyperborea and was still venerated there by the Hyperboreans in Greek Sources. Apollo is also associated with Ravens as it was a symbol of his as a god of Prophecy, he once sent it to spy on his lover Coronis and via this tale the White Bird was burned black. Apollo is also associated with Wolves, as his mother Leto, gave birth to him as a She-Wolf and in some versions Apollo began life not as a golden haired babe, but as a wolf cub god. Artemis his well known twin had an older cult and was likely grafted onto Apollo and Leto as a means of explaining her in a broader sense of the Greek Pantheon. Apollo is also one of the few Greek gods not to have his name changed or be conflated with a Roman god.-TLK

I often see modern ethnic Europeans who live in western countries fetishize after modern non-white indigenous people, and their culture, like the Native Americans, Hindus, Chinese, Japanese, etc.. Modern white westerners view the non-white indigenous people with great admiration and respect. Now, there is absolutely nothing wrong with respecting, or admiring the non-white indigenous cultures that I’ve listed, or any indigenous culture for that matter. I do that myself. I am trying to point out that most modern white people who live in western countries simply do not understand that they too come from indigenous cultures. I think it is important to open their eyes, and make them understand that they are part of indigenous cultures. When it comes to having indigenous heritage, ancestral ethnic roots, ancient history, modern white people are no different from modern Native Americans or any other modern people who are called indigenous

Family Tree
Knowing your cultural background and where you came from can help develop a strong sense of who you really are.
The way you relate to family stories and create narratives helps establish our unique, authentic cultural identity as People of the North.
But if we go even further back in time we realize that we are just part of an even older tree of life whose root is buried somewhere even deeper in the past and whose branches we as Hyperboreans share.
Our ancestors actually knew all this, or at least had some kind of awareness of its implications.

This is where our inherent need to procreate, to ensure the continuation of ourselves comes, but ultimately to ensure the continuous growth of the tree of life comes from.
Every new generation is a new incarnation of the same family tree. Every new generation gets a chance to develop into something new and beautiful. Every generation is held by the fact that it is growing on the branches which grow on the trunk, whose roots reach deep into the past.
Remember this as we head into Yule. Old familiarities can be rekindled, and new acquaintances can be made in the Hyperborean tree of life that we are part of.

Tomte Part 1
Tomte also called Nisse are a kind of House Spirit from Nordic lore. They are commonly depicted in rural farmer clothes, having a long white beard, and wearing boots and a red cap (either pointed or woven). They are usually depicted as small befitting their gnome like appearance. (Tomte does effectively mean the same thing as Gnome creature wise) though their name means “Homestead Man”. Like many household spirits they are often viewed as the spirits of the first resident of the farm (ancestor spirit), effectively being examples of ancestors becoming Tutelary deities. Tomte are shown helping the farm by doing chores and at times even stealing things, they were often mischievous and were incredibly strong for their size. On Christmas Eve it was customary to leave out a bowl of porridge for the Tomte (they especially liked having a piece of butter on top and many would grow enraged if this is neglected and would harm or kill those who ate their porridge.)
