I've heard some murmurs around the circles of Ethnic Faith speaking ill about Animism. People claiming that we "didn't" or "shouldn't" have animism..... yes.... that's why we don't have a near endless number of fairy tales and folklore featuring animistic qualities. Nor do we really have any spirits, well darn..... seems like we didn't have any I mean, its not like we have spirits like the Domovoi, Tomte, Leshy, Woodwose, Troll, Elf, Dwarf, Gnome, Siren, Fae, Nymphs, Satyrs, Nixie, Will-o-The-Wisp, White Stag, Grim Hound, Field Spirits, Imp, Drac, Brownie, Boggart, Goblin, Centaur, or anything? It's not like these interact with us in almost every folktale, and interact with the gods as well. There are no tales of Satyrs or Dwarves interacting with deities that would just be silly.......... If you want to see the Long LONG tradition of European animism we have a myriad of folktales and folk customs you can look into. It's not the same as other groups, it is ours. Remember the spirits, they remember you.-TLK

In European tradition, especially under the influence of Alchemy we have the 4 core elements of Water (Liquid), Earth (Solid), Fire (Energy), and Air (Gas). These 4 core elements are also symbolized by an assigned spirit these include Undine for Water, Gnome for Earth, Salamander for Fire, and Sylph for Air. Along with these 4 there is the fifth element known as Aether which has many varied qualities and interpretations, it is derived from the old god Aether who represented the upper air that the gods breathed. Though the concept has been brought forth by numerous people including Tesla. Personally similar to how the 4 core elements correspond to stages of matter, Aether could be seen as potential, spirit, or if you want to go mundane dark matter.-TLK

Pit Bulls have a rather bad name nowadays, but they were once sought after by families across our lands. Because for over a hundred years they were "The Nanny Dog" they have one of the kindest and most loyal temperaments, and they adore people. They were especially good with "their" baby, which they would guard all their lives. Why is this important? Because the story of the Staffordshire Terrier (Pit Bull) is a microcosm of us. A kind, caring, loyal, gentle, strong, self-sacrificing, loving dog breed was made into the monster dog of the world. Would they bite off your dick, face, hand, or soul? Yes of course if you dared harm their human, but so would any self respecting parent if their child was harmed. I would argue that in a time period where all of us are so under attack and hateful propaganda is everywhere, we need a few more people with a Pit Bull "Nanny Dog" for a spirit animal.-TLK
