Some Halloween Tunes-TAO
Jack Frost, "Spirit of frost" a folkloric deity and possible brother of the four seasons. He loves his sister Winter most of all. He is the one responsible for the jack frost patterns on the window, the frost across the dew that crisp cold morning, snow days...... etc. He appears in many different sets of folklore. From western Europe to Finland and Russia. Appearing as the frost that bites in the Kalevala and as heroes and villains throughout modern stories existing as a common character among Christmas films. He is considered a variation on the name old Man winter and acts as a youthful trickster with a love of fun, while in his old man winter form he is much harsher and miserly. Though this may be modern connotations. He is known for "Jack Frost nipping at your nose" in a popular christmas tune. What is your favorite thing about Jack Frost?

Aethelwulf is a valued member of the group who has been an invaluable member both for morale and artistic endeavors. In the first issue of Europe & Diaspora we even did an interview with him on his art. Despite being in South Africa Aethelwulf has never let his Northern Spirit waver. He is a true friend and I hope one day he can finally escape SA and run free like the wolf he is at heart. He is inspired by his Patron Fenrir to never give in and it is infectious. -TAO and HH
