🤔 What’s a constant bonding curve on Hype and why it can be beneficial for me?

💡 Here’s the breakdown:

Hype uses a constant bonding curve mechanism (used by AMM). It works like this:

1️⃣ Starting point:
✦The token price begins at 0.1 USDC + 1.1 USDC for a token creation.
✦The total supply is capped at 10,000 tokens.

2️⃣ How it works for creators (aka devs):
✦When you create a token, you mint the first batch (e.g., 1,000 tokens).
✦These tokens are worth about 111 USDC, setting their initial value.
✦Now, there are 1,000 tokens in circulation.
✦The token price is already 0.12 USDC

3️⃣ When others join:
✦As new users buy tokens, the token price goes up, and so does the market cap 🚀
✦Example: If 10 more users join contributing 100 USDC each — there are 1,111 USDC in token Reserve and about 5,263 tokens in circulation (Hype score).
✦The token price increases up to 0.4 USDC, and those who got in early might see some gains 💰
✦The more tokens are minted in the current supply, the higher the Hype score in the leaderboard — the same extreme price sensitivity works when you burn tokens.

4️⃣ Burning tokens:
✦Think wisely — burn at a price level that is comfortable for you 🔥
✦ Considering the example above and burning 1,000 of your initially minted tokens — it brings you 368 USDC which is x3 from the amount of USDC you contributed initially!
