Important concept guys ❗️ Get a lot of questions about it

The differences between Acquisition and Activation are confusing, so it is important to remember you are solving a customers problem with content during the acquisition stage, but you are solving their problem with a sample of your good or service during Activation
When you are just starting a project, career or business, it is important to act like a professional – to target big customers, to speak confidently and harshly, to behave as if you have already achieved success and have been doing this business for twenty-five years 🚀

Hey fella entrepreneur! Recently I’ve reread Permission Marketing by Seth Godin. Share with some findings from the book.

🚀

Create Long-Term Relationships!

Getting people's permission is a long-term investment, and no one can become a brand with which one wants to bond overnight.

To start a relationship, the best way to attract people is by inviting them to know something and not to buy something.

After the potential client get to know you, the process of creating the relationship must continue.

The company must continue to communicate and strengthen that relationship over time. To be able to do that, your brand should reinforce the initial message and educate potential customers about the advantages of their products.

With the relationship, comes trust.

The consumer gradually remembers and feels confident in the brand. It means that when the customer chooses to buy, he/she buys from someone they trust and not from an unknown brand 💪🏽
Understand your priorities through a bottom-up examination. To get a grasp of what’s important to you in your work and life, it’s useful to think in terms of horizon 😎

The power and the flaw of two-sided marketplaces:

Ultimately, engagement drives stickiness, which drives retention — and that, in turn, drives growth. Therefore, systematically understanding and improving engagement will increase a product’s health.

A few quotes on building trust by Jonathan Stark latest podcast episode:

“I feel like trust is just an implicit part of that relationship, and the more we can make it explicit, I think it’s easier.”

“If we trust first, then the other person has the opportunity to trust back.”

“I don’t even call it a sales call. I call it a sales interview, and it’s just like a job interview. It goes both ways.”

Stellar 🤘

Hey guys, found this excerpt from Seth Godin “Purple Cow”

The story about famous Aaron chair which didn’t fit the market at all in terms of pricing 💰

At the same time that exaggerated price made the chair a symbol of wealth and success.

👇

When Herman Miller introduced the $750 (gasp) Aeron chair in 1994, they took a radical risk.

They launched a chair that looked different, worked differently, and cost a bunch. It was a Purple Cow.

Everyone who saw it wanted to sit in it, and everyone who sat in it wanted to talk about it.

The designers at Herman Miller knew that the chair was expensive enough that it wasn’t a safe purchase for the ordinary purchasing agent. They also knew that it was quite likely that they wouldn’t sell many chairs at all.

Herman Miller got it right, though.

Sitting in the Aeron chair sent a message about what you did and who you were, and buying the chairs for your company sent a message as well.
Most important rule of an email marketing strategy? 🚀

❗️ Only send emails when you have something good to say.

If you send emails to remind people you exist, then you don’t exist to them.

There are some people who can send you an email once a year and you’d open it.

Because when you only share value - people expect value.
