There are no problems. We decide whether something is or isn’t a problem. There are no good or bad events. We decide whether we interpret something as good or bad.
There is no right or wrong, there is just being. Things just are. You’re the one who labels them. If an event matches what you want, it’s right. If it doesn’t match what you want, it’s wrong.
If you are carrying inside of you, ‘scars’, due to past experiences that have happened to you, the scars are not there because of the experience. An experience that already happened that isn’t happening anymore, cannot scar you. It’s not even there. How can something that’s not happening be bothering you?
You do not need to be bothered by that which is not happening. It’s enough to deal with what is happening now. Every moment that you let past events occupy your consciousness, you are missing the reality of what is unfolding in front of you.
You are missing your life by allowing your consciousness to participate in the neurosis of your past.
Be here now.

In 1976, a team of medical doctors ventured deep into the Amazon in search of a group of natives known as the Waorani. The team spent 4 weeks examining the tribe of about 600 individuals who had limited contact with outsiders.
Barring few exceptions, the Waorani were "very robust, and in excellent health". There were no diseases of the ears, eyes, nose, or throat. Cardiovascular, metabolic, skin, gastrointestinal, and respiratory diseases were non-existent (apart from two elderly women with pneumonia). No neurological or mental health disorders were detected. Some dental carries were identified. The leading causes of death were from physical traumas, abortions, stillbirths, and unidentified illnesses arising largely from snake and insect bites, burns, and wounds.
These findings suggest that when humans live in harmony with nature, disease is the exception to the rule. Ill health is a consequence of hyper-civilisation and living in opposition with the world around us.

In this episode, we dive deep into the world of Mould illness—a controversial topic that has sparked much debate within the medical community. Daniel and I examine the existing literature and discuss the notable gaps in scientific evidence surrounding this condition. As we explore the disconnect between anecdotal experiences and the rigorous demands of scientific validation, you'll gain a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by both patients and practitioners. Don't miss this eye-opening conversation that questions established norms and encourages critical thinking about one of the most polarizing topics in modern health.

Episode 81: Dr Michael Wenisch - Germ Theory Logic
Watch the episode here.
Dr Michael Wenisch joins me to address logical fallacies and epistomoloigcal errors in relation to the germ theory of disease. The "no virus, no infectious disease" position has made clear to him that professional philosophers in general have an important role to play in clarifying and correcting fundamental logical and epistomological errors that lie at the heart of much of the theory and practice of modern Western medicine. This podcast represents his own attempt at making a small contribution to this process of clarification and correction.

"If you can really be there, nature can help you with your awakening. If you can really be there with all your senses, and be aware of the awareness itself, when you're out there in nature. Sometimes it can happen to some humans almost accidently, they're out there climbing a mountain, or they're swimming, somewhere in nature, and suddenly the person subsides and just an awareness arises. They think it's been caused by the beauty that they see (in nature), but it's not really that, it's actually been caused by the cessation of thinking".

Imagine sitting on this beach. If you spent the entire time dwelling in the past or worrying about the future, instead of being immersed in the moment, where were you? Were you ever really there, or everywhere else but where you were?
Living in the now is not about being “positive” and “happy” all the time. It’s not about becoming detached or pacifistic. It’s about being connected, experiencing each and every moment as life unfolds. When something sad happens, cry. When something funny happens, laugh. When there's a threat, know when to stand your ground & when to retreat.
The present moment is the only one that exists. So, if you’re not living in the now, where are you? Some might say "detached from reality". Spending your life trapped in the past or catastrophising into the future will only lead to regret. A moment only comes once in a lifetime, each one as precious as the next. How many are you willing to throw away?
The sum of each moment is your life. Don't waste it.
Be present.

Are these the most important experiments ever undertaken in the history of medicine?
During the height of the Spanish influenza pandemic of 1918/19, the U.S. Public Health Service and U.S. Navy performed 25 different experiments in the hopes of discovering how the illness spread. Despite exposing more than 160 healthy sailors to sick people and their bodily fluids, not a single participant developed the disease. These results cast considerable doubt over the claim that colds and flu are transmitted from person to person.
Over the last century, hundreds of similar experiments have failed to demonstrate the phenomenon of contagion. This is surprising given colds and flu are claimed to spread via ‘fleeting contact’ with a sick person.
So, can you catch a cold?
"Can You Catch A Cold?" aims to answer this question by delving into the historical records, investigating past pandemics, exploring human psychology, and reviewing more than 200 contagion studies.

Not so long ago, humans were largely free from disease. It was not uncommon for people to enjoy a relatively healthful existence well into their 70’s, despite no access to ‘modern medicine’.
In 1862, Diplomat William Palgrave, reported that “The Arabs are a very healthy people and keep their strength and activity to an advanced age. It is no uncommon occurrence here to see an old man of seventy set out full armed among a band of youths”.
In 1883, Dr Gordon Hull served as the medical officer to an expedition through Arabia. He stated “The diseases to which the Arabs are subject to are few, and if we accept those infectious diseases which come to them from without, such as cholera and small-pox, they appear to be a very healthy people”.
On her journey through Iran in 1892, Isabelle Bishop observed that “The Bakhtiaris are a very healthy people. None of the dreadful diseases common among the Persians afflict them, and consumption seems unknown.
So, where did it all go wrong?
