If you think the vitamins in your pills are coming from food. Think again.

"Isolation of thiamine from natural sources is only of historical interest. All of the thiamine produced worldwide is manufactured by chemical processes. Two major synthetic routes are used".

The use of grewe diamine (a coal tar derivative) to make thiamine (B1) is "universally practiced by all large manufacturers".

If you are a natural health clinician and you are happy to keep on prescribing synthetic vitamins derived from petrochemicals, coal tar and other toxic compounds to your clients, who am I to stop you?

But you owe it to your clients to be honest with them and tell them exactly how these 'vitamins' are made, who makes them and what they are made from. That way they can make up their own mind if they want to take these 'natural alternatives'. I'm sure most clients think this stuff is coming from food and the simple truth of the matter is it's not.

Episode 69: Dr. Ali Ajaz - You Don't Need a Medical Degree to See the Truth

https://www.humanley.com/blog/episode69

Dr Ajaz graduated from Guy’s, King’s & St Thomas’s School of Medicine in London (UK) and has spent the best part of the last 20 years working in mental health. He qualified as a Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist and also has a keen interest in medical education. He has held an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer role for the past 10 years at Queen Mary University London, where he is also currently completing a research degree (MD Res) looking at the relationship between extremist behaviour and mental illness.

In this episode, Dr. Ajaz shares his perspective on the pandemic, injections, the government response, and why the field of medicine may not be able to recover the trust of the general public. We also talk about psychiatric medicine, the cause of conditions like depression and anxiety, the lack of evidence supporting the use of anti-depressant medications and how he helps his clients overcome mental health issues in clinical practice.

Dr Ajaz runs his own Brain Health Clinic in London, where he uses a functional health approach to treat mental illness, support brain optimisation and promote longevity.

Dr. Ajaz is part of a group of UK doctors who issued a press release last month about the 'covid jabs': https://doctorsforpatientsuk.com/press-release/

Philosophy of Natural Medicine

Free webinar next Tuesday the 7th of February at 6 PM AEST.

Over the last decade, I have been witnessing what I would consider to be the systematic destruction of natural medicine (particularly naturopathy) in this country. When I went through my undergraduate degree, it was still steeped in the foundational principles and philosophy of naturopathy. As time has gone by, less and less focus has been placed upon naturopathic principles in college and university degrees for natural therapists.

When I first began teaching in the nutritional medicine degree, it was essentially holistic, naturopathic nutrition taught by naturopaths who were experienced clinicians. As time went by, I witnessed more and more non-naturopathically trained health care professionals like 'dietitians' and 'exercise physiologists' replace the naturopathic lecturers. As a consequence, nutritional medicine has slowly become a bastardised 'green' version of dietetics. Nutritional medicine students no longer get any education in the principles of philosophy of natural medicine and most naturopathic students have completely forgotten the importance of these principles as they are only briefly covered in one first year subject. This is a massive oversight from my perspective, as a deep understanding of these principles are essential if one is to become a successful, grounded and well rounded clinician.

Join me on Tuesday the 7th of February at 6 PM AEST for a free live webinar where I will be providing an in depth overview of naturopathic principles and philosophy. A recording will be available.

Very recently, I have had a number of experiences that have made me think about what truly matters in life.

Love, forgiveness and gratitude is all we really need to have have a wonderful and abundant life. Yes, I'll admit food and a warm bed are also nice too.

It's easy to get distracted with material things that don't matter. When we get consumed by technology and chase fancy things, we lose sight of what truly matters, we forget how beautiful the world around us actually is.

Appreciate each and every single second. Live in the moment. Forgive those who have wronged you. Forgive yourself. Love and respect yourself. Show kindness to others. Nurture nature and spend more time in it. Love unconditionally. Be grateful.

Now get out there and enjoy life!

We are led to believe that you can be minding your own business, walking down the street, completely healthy and 'catch' a disease. We are told this occurs from being exposed to a pathogenic bacteria or 'virus'.

If you can 'catch disease' then you should be able to 'catch health'. By rights, the germ theory cannot be a one way street. It cannot only be; good health --> bad germ --> disease. It should go the other way too; disease --> good germ --> good health.

Show me one instance documented in the literature, where a diseased person walking down the street got exposed to a good bacteria or 'virus' and had their disease magically disappear.

Do you know why you've never heard someone tell you they miraculously caught 'good health', because no one can, just like no one can catch bad health.

If disease is contagious, then good health should also be contagious. Why have we never had a pandemic of a good virus or bacteria spreading around the world making people spontaneously healthy?

Good health isn't caught, it's earned. Disease isn't caught either, it's also earned. How do you earn disease? By eating shit, thinking shit, drinking shit, breathing shit, taking drugs, lathering your body in toxic chemicals, sitting in front of a desk indoors all day, living in fear, living in a toxic Western society, being stressed, being disconnected from nature, being scared of the sun, being in a dysfunctional relationship, working in a slave job, being in debt, being exposed to poisons sprayed on food, in the air and in the water.

If you continue abusing yourself day in day out, eventually something's gotta give.

When you get sick its easier to blame it on a germ, rather than the things mentioned above. Why? Because when you blame it on a germ, you don't have to worry about changing a single damn thing in your life.

People think the answer to the problem is taking something to 'kill the germ' or to 'inject themselves with health'. The real answer is to start treating the body and mother nature with some respect.

Nature doesn't do disease, humans do.

Health is an inside job.

Happiness is an inside job.

Fancy pills and potions and gadgets and other interventions are great, but when all is said and done, the only thing that can heal you is you!

One person might see disease as suffering, while another might see disease as healing. Which one is going to achieve great health first?

Only you can change your thoughts, your diet, your lifestyle and your habits. Not even the best practitioner in the world can do that for you.

The healing power of nature is inside every single one of us.

The body has a remarkable capacity to heal itself when we give it needs, remove what it doesn't and get out of the way.

I'm surprised the authors of this paper didn't conclude that 'rudeness' was caused by a pathogenic, contagious, replication competent, sub-microscopic particle - ie a virus.

There are many countries where butchers sell meat unrefrigerated.

Why aren't people getting sick when buying from these markets?

Thailand legalised cannabis on June 9th, 2022, a move which has been largely embraced by many Thai people.

Cannabis is available almost everywhere, from dedicated dispensaries and mobile street vendors to stalls in shopping centres like the one pictured.

There are many positives to come out of this unexpected decision to legalise cannabis (a plant which has been used traditionally for hundreds of years by the Thai's). Tourism is booming, tens of thousands of jobs have been created and people can get access to this herbal medicine without fear of spending decades in prison.

What do you think about cannabis being legalised in countries like Thailand? Do you think other countries should follow suit or should it remain a controlled substance?

Never jabbed.
Never masked.
Never sanitised.
Never distanced.
Never tested.
Never isolated.
Never locked down.
Never checked in.
Never complied.
Never medicated.
Never infected.

The deadliest and most highly contagious pandemic the world has ever seen and I've never had "it".

I would consider myself a "high risk" individual.

I had pneumonia as a child and multiple times throughout my late teens and early 20's.

In my mid 20's, I lived in Melbourne for almost 4 years. During that time I had pneumonia three times and multiple bouts of influenza every year without fail.

In 2018 I had a snowboarding accident and damaged my lungs.

If there was a highly infectious particle floating around, I should have been one of the first people to get struck down. Yet somehow over the last 3 years, I've been fine.

For more than 10 years, I was constantly sick. Not once in that time did I "give" anything to my partner.

Why? Because illness isn't contagious. No one "catches" anything from anybody.

Why was I so sick for all those years? I smoked, I drank heavily, I didn't exercise and I ate shit every night. My body was toxic so it mounted recurrent detoxification processes to purge the toxins out of my body.

I now eat organic, exercise, meditate and spend time in nature. I haven't smoked or drank in almost 6 years. I don't get "sick" like I used to. This isnt because my immune system is strong (that concept is a complete fallacy). I'm healthy because I don't poison myself anymore.

You can't catch a cold or flu, but you can certainly earn one.

Everyone in Japan wears a mask, everywhere, all the time. I'm not sure if it's out of fear of catching something, or fear of authority.

They can't be scared of catching anything (which you can't by the way) because they take their masks off as soon as they sit down in packed restaurants.

I've also noticed no one wears a mask in the onsen, where dozens of naked men are packed together shoulder to shoulder in the same room.

I wonder how many cases of transmission have been "claimed" to occur in onsens around the country?

A fearful and scared population is an easy one to demoralise, control and oppress.

Japan is just not the same anymore, its sad to witness.

A recent cochrane review, the gold standard of medical science found that masks do nothing. What a surprise!

Does this mean that those who have been wearing a mask over the last three years are science denying conspiracy theorists? Maybe so.

I've copped so much shit for not wearing a mask. I was verbally abused on many occasions, ostracised and made to feel like an outcast in my work place, had the police called on me whilst walking my dog in the park and a range of other reprehensible acts.

I wonder what all of my "colleagues" who have been walking around in a face nappy since this shit show began are thinking now? Are they going to double down and defend masks or admit they were wrong and apologise?

I have been nothing less than disgusted over people's behaviour around masks, thinking they were following the science and "doing the right thing". They had this air of arrogance and superiority about themselves. I've never seen such exhibits of childlike behaviour from grown adults.

This whole time all mask wearers have been doing is virtue signaling, demoralising themselves and society and throwing away their self respect.

There never was any science about masks, and this was evident from day one. If you chose to push this agenda, you did so because people in authority told you to, despite there being no evidence to support it.

It's truly frightening to see what people will do without question simply because they were ordered to.

I guess mask-holes must be feeling pretty embarrassed right about now.

How any health professional who pushed this garbage is going to regain the respect of the general public is beyond me. If they couldnt correctly interpret the data on masks, then how can they be trusted to interpret data on any other health related intervention?

Science is a method where an independent variable (the cause) is manipulated to observe the changes that occur to dependent variables (the effect).

This method, despite its downfalls, is the best thing we have to try and explain observed phenomenon in the world around us.

To claim X causes Y, X must be shown to exist in nature first. An indirect experiment that produces X through man made means, cannot be used to explain natural phenomenon. Additionally, observing Y (the effect) cannot be used as proof of X.

This is precisely what has been done to try and justify the existence and function of things like vitamins, viruses, proteins, DNA, genes, cellular organelles etc.

All of these things are based on pseudoscience dressed up as science to fool and manipulate a gullible public.

This podcast with Dr. Jordan Grant, Dr. Jerneja Tomsic and Dawn Lester is a must watch for anyone trying to get a better grasp on what science is and what it is not.

Do vitamin deficiencies really cause disease, or is something else going on?

It is generally accepted that when people become deficient in a vitamin, disease arises because the cells can't perform their normal metabolic functions. But is this really the case?

Let's look at beriberi, the disease said to arise from a deficiency of vitamin B1. When people ate a diet consisting mainly of polished refined white rice for prolonged periods of time, they developed neurological and cardiovascular symptoms. When they ate the bran layer of whole grain unprocessed rice, their symptoms went away.

In the early 1900's, doctors and scientists claimed this was because there was an essential vitamin (B1) lacking in the polished rice, resulting in the deficiency disease, beriberi. However, many scientists and doctors around the same time such as Nobel prize winner Christjaan Eijkman disagreed. He discovered polished rice caused beriberi and said it was not a deficiency disease, but rather a toxicity disease, arising from a build up of toxins present in the polished rice, the antidote to which, was contained in the bran layer.

Breastfed infants developed infantile beriberi when their mothers ate a diet of polished rice. It was claimed this was because the milk was deficient in vitamin B1, however many others suggested it was due to a toxin present in the milk. When mothers stopped breast feeding their children and fed them other foods also deficient in B1 like sweetened condensed milk, the beriberi rapidly resolved.

This finding is incredibly important because it proves that infantile beriberi is not caused by a deficiency, but rather a toxin present in the milk.

Between the 1930s and 50's dozens upon dozens of papers were published by scientists and medical doctors in Japan about infantile beriberi being caused by a toxin and not by a vitamin deficiency. The following quotes provide a clear example of their position on the matter.

Quote "Beriberi seems to be generally accepted in America and Europe simply as the equivalent for avitaminosis B, just as scurvy is for avitaminosis C. In this country we, especially pediatricians, who deal with different forms of avitaminosis B, cannot accept this view".

Quote "What is the best treatment for fatal infantile beriberi? Even a massive dose of thiamine (B1) may fail to cure it. Some cases could be cured, if they were weaned immediately and fed a very diluted gruel of polished or thiamine free rice; because they had been transferred from poisonous milk to non-poisonous food. Infantile beriberi is not so much a thiamine-deficient disease, as the result of acute poisoning".

Many medical doctors in the West also shared this view. These papers provide further insight 1, 2, 3.

Long story short, when a food is processed components (let's call them "vitamins") are removed from the food, resulting in incomplete metabolism. This results in a build up of intermediate metabolites which cause toxicity and disease. The "vitamin" is the antidote to the poison so to speak, by facilitating complete metabolism of the food.

In the case of polished rice, the toxic metabolite is known as methyl glyoxal. When this toxin was injected into animals, it resulted in symptoms characteristic of beriberi.

Vitamin deficiency does not cause disease, toxicity does. If deficiency caused disease, then why don't people who fast for 30, 60, 100, 200 days develop scurvy, beriberi and pellagra?

This is just one example. There are countless papers published on other deficiency diseases being caused by toxicity, not deficiency. It's time to rethink our understanding about nutrition.
