Why are we taking synthetic vitamin pills?

Part 1 of 2.

Let's think about synthetic vitamin C (ascorbic acid) compared to natural vitamin C. We are told they are exactly the same, because the chemical structures are the same. The chemical structure is determined by spectroscopy. We assume that there is nothing more to a "vitamin" than its chemical structure.

This would be like showing someone two pictures of identical fridges. They can tell me it's a fridge by looking at it. They are the same.

But can they tell me what's inside each fridge by looking at the outside of it? No. They have to open the fridge and look inside. One fridge might be full of soft-drink and cake, whilst the other might be full of beautiful fresh produce.

When we look at vitamins using other visualization techniques, like those in the chromatography experiments (see image below) conducted by the scientist Ehrenfried E. Pfeiffer, we begin to see massive differences between synthetic and natural vitamins. Using other visualization techniques like chromatograms is analogous to looking inside the fridge.

To think that a vitamin synthesized in a lab somewhere and shoved into a pill with a bunch of excipients is just as good as eating a beautiful fresh strawberry is beyond ignorant.

When we start synthesizing vitamins and minerals in laboratories and putting them into the body, we assume they work in the body the same way. After all, a vitamin is a vitamin, whether its from food or from a lab, right?

Why are we taking synthetic vitamin pills?

Part 2 of 2.

If you take a supplement with iron and ascorbic acid (vitamin C) together for example, a reaction occurs in the gastro-intestinal tract called the Fenton reaction. This reaction produces a highly damaging free radical which can damage intestinal tissue, cause inflammation, ulceration and possibly cancer (1).

But this effect doesn't happen when you eat foods containing iron and vitamin C. Why? Because mother nature is incredibly intelligent and has included hundreds of other compounds in foods to stop this damaging effect from occurring. For example, if you eat a piece of fruit (which contains vitamin C) and a piece of meat (which contains iron), the Fenton reaction is likely to be prevented by the antioxidants and polyphenols in the fruit(2) and substances in the meat like hydroxyproline(3).

Is it time to re-think our obsession with "supplements"?

You Can't Say That!

Peter Christoph has just released his new book titled "You Can't Say That - How Society Influences Our Perception".

Peter approached me at the beginning of the year and asked if I would write a foreword for his new book, which explores human behaviour, more specifically if society can influence the way we think and how we form our opinions.

This is a great read for those that are struggling to understand why their friends and family may think differently on certain issues. If you have tried opening the minds of those around you but they aren't interested, this book might help them realise that everything may not be as it seems.

This is a great read and is something that you can finish in just a few hours!

If you would like to support Peter's work, head on over to https://welcomecuriousminds.com/ and get your copy of his new e-book. All proceeds go to Peter, so that he can continue publishing more engaging and thought provoking content!

Is it really mould making people sick?

There are other plausible explanations. Building material contains countless harmful toxins. When the material gets water damaged in damp humid conditions, these harmful chemicals are off-gassed into the air. Inhalation of these toxic chemicals has been shown in dozens of human controlled trials to induce symptoms identical to "mould related illness".

No controlled experiment has ever shown inhalation of mould spores or mycotoxins from mould infested buildings to cause illness.

Are we mistaking "multiple chemical sensitivity" for "mould related illness"?

Episode 57: Dr. Saeed Qureshi - Non-sense non-science

Dr. Qureshi is an internationally recognized scientist. For the past 40 years, including 30 years with Health Canada, he has been involved in the isolation, characterization, and testing of food and pharmaceutical substances.

Dr. Qureshi obtained his Ph.D. under the guidance of (late) Prof. M. Verzele (University of Ghent, Belgium), a world-renowned scientist in separation and isolation science using techniques such as counter-current distribution (CCD) technique and modern techniques of chromatography (gas and liquid) coupled with mass spectrometry.

Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic episode, he has been educating and guiding people about the unfortunate use of false, in fact, fraudulent science in virus isolation, testing, and vaccine development.

In this podcast, Dr. Qureshi gives a thought provoking presentation about the science, or lack thereof, in regards to virus isolation, v*ccin*e efficacy and the issues plaguing PCR testing.

Vitamin supplements contain ascorbic acid, not vitamin C.

Vitamin C is an entire complex in whole foods, consisting of ascorbic acid & P, K & J factors.

Ascorbic acid
in supplements is synthesised in a laboratory from the Reichstein process by;

1. Converting D-glucose from GMO corn to D-sorbitol by a hydrogenation reaction catalysed by nickel.

2. D-sorbitol is fermented by acetobacter to L-sorbose.

3. L-sorbose is converted to diacetone-L-sorbose with acetone (nail polish remover) & an acid.

4. Diacetone-L-sorbose is converted to diprogulic acid with potassium permangenate.

5. Diprogulic acid is converted to gulonic acid with heat & water.

6. Gulonic acid is converted to ascorbic acid with a reaction catalysed by platinum.

7. Ascorbic acid is combined with excipients to make "vitamin C" powders & tablets.

Vitamin C from foods, behaves differently in the body than synthetic "ascorbic acid".

The best way to get vitamin C is to just eat real food.

I've been listening to Mark Devlin for a number of years. He has a podcast called 'Good Vibrations'.

If you haven't come across Mark's work before, his stuff is absolutely brilliant.

In this podcast, he speaks with Iain Clifford & Dr. Sam White.

Dr. White was a GP for 18 years in the UK, who made international headlines during the pandemic for challenging the current allopathic model of modern medicine and questioning the validity of the science around the isolation of the "virus". He also speaks with Iain White about sovereinty and breaking free of the the financial system.

Enjoy.

Time to hypothesise. How do we know we are made of cells? Has anyone ever observed a "cell" containing all of the organelles we are shown in the diagrams of text books, inside a living human being?

How do we know that when we cut tissue out of a living organism, that compartments within the tissue aren't produced? Is it possible the "cells" and "organelles" we are looking at under a microscope are nothing more than artifacts?

If only Prof. Hillman was still around today. I would love to interview him.

There are no "cell membrane pumps" like the sodium potassium pump.

First and foremost, there are more than 2500 pumps proposed to exist, yet not a single one has ever been observed with a microscope.

Secondly, the sodium potassium pump is just one of these pumps and would require between 1500%- 3500% more energy than a cell is capable of producing.

Thirdly, sodium, calcium and magnesium pumps would require 350% more energy than a cell is capable of producing.

Finally, simple calculations prove that there would not be enough space for 2500 different pumps to exist within the cell membrane.

It's time to start rethinking cell biology.

When I draw attention to the fact that mould has never been proven to cause disease in humans, most people argue that it is the mycotoxins, not the mould.

So I thought I would start digging through the literature on human mycotoxin exposure.

Ochratoxin is one of the most well known mycotoxins, so I thought I would start there. It didn't take me long to find some interesting information in the peer reviewed scientific literature.

We are photosynthetic, light beings. Our tissue works like a battery. Humans need earth (negatively charged particles - which helps to counteract the positively charged particles like hydrogen produced as a waste product from metabolic processes), water (from food and drinking water) and sunlight (which splits water in our tissue into positive and negatively charged particles).

Human beings are like a complex tree.

To better understand what makes humans sick, we can draw parallels between what makes trees sick. Insufficient sunlight, nutrient deficiency, compromised soil or lack of contact with soil (bare skin contact with the earth), as well as pesticides, herbicides, fungicides and exposure to various other harmful toxins found in personal care products, cleaning products, car exhaust, tyre dust, building material, petrochemicals, food and water contaminated by industrial waste, and electromagnetic frequencies.

Professor Gerald Pollack (who appeared on the Humanley podcast episode 8) explains this perfectly in this 10 minute Ted Talk.

Helicobacter pylori has been proven to cause peptic ulcers, right?

Wrong.

The very man who won the Nobel Prize for discovering H. pylori causes ulcers admits Koch's postulates have never been fulfilled. He even drank H. pylori himself & never got an ulcer.

Every single human & animal experiment has failed to cause an ulcer in a single case from H. pylori exposure.

To prove H. pylori was the cause of ulcers, scientists "extrapolated backwards". They gave people with ulcers antibiotics. Sometimes the ulcers went away and this is used as proof of causation.

What absolute non-sense.

Let me put this logic into perspective for you.

A fireman puts out a fire (ulcer) with water (antibiotic). Water (antibiotic) suffocates the fire (ulcer) by limiting the oxygen supply (bacteria). Therefore, the fire (ulcer) was started by oxygen (bacteria).

Huh?

Maybe the simple answer is, the bacteria doesn't cause ulcers?

Have you heard of spontaneous synchronization?

What made all of these metronome's synchronize their timing? No one would ever watch this video and think a "contagious invisible particle" infected the metronomes, causing them to align their tempo perfectly.

Could this phenomenon help to explain things like menstrual synchronization, contagion, laughter and yawning?

Yawns are contagious. Proven fact.

Yawns are not transmitted by an invisible, infectious particle.

Laughter is contagious. Proven fact.

Laughter is not transmitted by an invisible, infectious particle.

Crying is contagious. Proven fact.

Crying is not transmitted by an invisible, infectious particle.

Menstrual cycles synchronize. Proven fact.

Menstruation is not transmitted by an invisible, infectious particle.

Germs are contagious. Unproven.

Germs have never been proven to be contagious.

There is not a single controlled experiment, strictly adhering to the scientific method proving this theory.

Yes, people in groups get sick with the same symptoms. It doesn't mean it's some invisible enemy.
