በአዲስ አበባ ሳይንስና ቴክኖሎጂ ዩኒቨርሲቲ አዘጋጅነት እየተካሄደ ባለው የ2017 ዓም የኢትዮጵያ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ተማሪዎች ስፖርት ፌስቲቫል ላይ እየተሳተፈ የሚገኘው የሀዋሳ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ልዑክ በባህል ስፖርቶች የባለ 12 ጉድጓድ የገበጣ ውድድር የዋንጫ አሸናፊ በመሆን ለዩኒቨርሲቲው ሁለተኛውን የወርቅ ሜዳሊያ አስገኝቷል።

በሴቶች የባለ 12 ጉድጓድ የገበጣ ውድድር ከደባርቅ ዩኒቨርሲቲ አቻዋ ጋር በእልህ አስጨራሹ የፍጻሜ ውድድር የተጫወተችው ተማሪ አዚዛ ይማም ተጋጣሚዋን አሸንፋ የዋንጫ አሸናፊ በመሆን የወርቅ ሜዳሊያ ተሸላሚ ሆናለች።

በባለ 12 ጉድጓድ ገበጣ የወንዶች ምድብ ከሀዋሳ ዩኒቨርሲቲ የተወዳደረው ተማሪ አበባው አስማማው ከወልዲያ ዩኒቨርሲቲ አቻው ጋር ብርቱ ፉክክር አድርጎ ሁለተኛ በመውጣት ለሀዋሳ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ሌላ የብር ሜዳሊያ አስገኝቷል።

የሀዋሳ ዩኒቨርሲቲ  የባህል ስፖርት ዋና አሰልጣኝ አቶ ሰርፀብርሃን ካያሞ ስለ ውጤቱ የተሰማቸውን ስሜት ሲገልፁ የባህል ስፖርት ተወዳዳሪ ተማሪዎች በየደረጃው የገጠማቸውን ጠንካራ ፉክክር እየረቱ ለፍጻሜ ውድድሩ መብቃታቸውና በዛሬው የፍጻሜ ውድድር ልዩ ብቃት በማሳየት የወርቅና የብር ሜዳሊያ አሸናፊነታቸው በመረጋገጡ እጅግ መደሰታቸውን ገልፀዋል:: ለመላው የሀዋሳ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ማህበረሰብ እንኳን ደስ አላችሁ ብለዋል።

HU Participates in International Symposium on Cooperatives

The Department of Cooperatives at Hawassa University, College of Business and Economic, had participated in "The International Symposium on Cooperatives: Build a Better World" organized on the eve of the International Year of Cooperatives 2025, as declared by the United Nations.
