ስሜትህን አትደብቅ፦ ማዘን፣ መጨነቅ ወይም መድከም ድክመት አይደለም። እነዚህ ስሜቶች የሰው ልጅነትህ መገለጫዎች ናቸው። ስሜትህን አምነህ ስትቀበለው፣ ግማሹን የፈውስ መንገድ ጀምረሃል ማለት ነው።
"ይህም ያልፋል" የሚለውን እውነት አስታውስ፦ በስነ-ልቦና እይታ፣ ህይወት በዑደት (Cycles) የተሞላች ናት። እንደ ወቅቶች መለዋወጥ፣ የጨለማ ጊዜያትም አልፈው የብርሃን ቀናት መምጣታቸው የማይቀር ሀቅ ነው።
በትንሽ እርምጃዎች ተጓዝ፦ ስለ ነገ ወይም ስለሚቀጥለው አመት አትጨነቅ። ለዛሬዋ ቀን፣ ለዚች ሰአት ብቻ የሚሆን ብርታት እንዲኖርህ ትኩረት አድርግ። ትንንሽ ድሎች ትልቅ ተስፋን ይወልዳሉ።
ራስህን ውደድ፦ በዚህ አስቸጋሪ ወቅት ለሌላ ሰው የምታሳየውን ርህራሄ ለራስህም አሳየው። ራስህን አትውቀስ፤ ይልቁንም "እስካሁን በጽናት ስለቆምኩ ኩራት ይሰማኛል" በል።
ለምን ተስፋ ማድረግ አለብህ?
አእምሮህ አሁን ባለው ጭንቀት ምክንያት መልካም ነገሮችን ማየት ተስኖት ሊሆን ይችላል። ነገር ግን ካለፈው ታሪክህ አስታውስ፦ ከዚህ በፊት "አልወጣውም" ያልከውን ተራራ አልፈሃል፣ "አይድንም" ያልከውን ቁስል አሽሯል። ዛሬም ያው ጥንካሬ በውስጥህ አለ።
