RT @Patrick1Kennedy: @HPC_Guru @intel @tomshardware @insideHPC We went with "Argonne Aurora Supercomputer Intel Max Blade Installation is Complete" --- STH is known for boring headlines.
There is still a LOT of work to be done between having the hardware physically installed and a system doing its official Top500 run or being accepted

👏👏 @intelhpc & @HPE_Cray - installing such a huge #supercomputer (>3M pieces of silicon) is NOT an easy task!
Even though it's comparing apples & oranges, in terms of number of nodes/racks:
#Fugaku: 158,976 nodes in 432 racks
#Aurora: 10,624 Nodes in 166 racks
#HPC #AI
-----------
@Patrick1Kennedy:
Providing some perspective here. Intel has now installed well over THREE MILLION pieces of silicon from several different vendors and process nodes packaged into just ~85K sockets to make this happen. That is the WILD factoid. https://t.co/omJ29FwqgR @Intel @IntelGraphics #HPC

Since you will no longer share CentOS source with anyone but your customers for commercial reasons, we figure that goes both ways, so we will depreciate all our testing of @GMX_TWEET on redHat & CentOS. Let us know if you want it supported, and we'll discuss cost.

RT @Michael_Zingale: what's really cool though is just how much more we can do with @OLCFGOV Frontier.
The same code runs on the AMD GPUs there (now using HIP instead of CUDA) and just works. The larger GPU memory means we can run on fewer nodes too! Here's strong scaling for this XRB run. https://twitter.com/Michael_Zingale/status/1671907863625605122/photo/1
