homicideware is excited to announce the start of Continuum Kernel development, a continuation of Spectrum Kernel for Miatoll.
The Continuum Kernel builds upon the great work done in Spectrum Kernel to develop a fast, stable and customizable Android kernel. Our team lead (@westpain) loved Spectrum Kernel so much, but after Miatoll maintainers conflict and further Spectrum Kernel lead (@edgarscirulis) account deletion westpain missed this kernel so much. After switching to Velvet Kernel he still wanted something special.
Continuum Kernel is designed for advanced Android enthusiasts looking to get the most out of their devices through customizing the kernel. If you used Spectrum Kernel and loved it's stability and bleeding edge source, Continuum Kernel is for you.
The source code for Continuum Kernel is stored on Killarious Git server. We welcome any developers wanting to contribute and help make this the best Android kernel in Miatoll community.

We're a stand-alone part of Homicideware - Cat Company.
We developing a new, GSI-enabled, stable mobile OS based on Alpine and our package manager called UPM(Unified Package Manager, https://underlevel.ddns.net/git/underlevel/upm).
We have our git hosting, which is based on Gogs.
Our init system is SystemDJ. (https://underlevel.ddns.net/git/underlevel/systemdj)
All our software is written in memory-safe languages like D and Rust.
GUI for our project will be available soon and will be written in GTK4 and Rust with some interesting conceptions of UI/UX.

GUI will be written in C/C++ and Qt Framework because of simpler integration with Android's SurfaceFlinger.

• MIUI 14 A14 is stable version but does not work with stock kernel. It opens with the Spectrum kernel, but there are lags in the system animations. It is necessary to have the current kernel (4.14.320 etc.). There are problems with the positron kernel (charging).
