Dear Commanders – Our journey over the past several years has seen alliances forged, battles waged, and unexplored space mapped. We are deeply appreciative of the community that has grown since Homeworld Mobile’s launch, but that journey is coming to an end.
Development on Homeworld Mobile has ceased, and after July 29 the game will no longer be accessible on mobile storefronts or able to be played by those who already have it on their devices. During this period, we will do as much as we can to make sure that you have the best experience possible while playing. In the next several days you’ll see the ability to purchase premium currency disabled, in-game currency prices for most store items lowered, and additional economy changes made to benefit players to deliver more value to them.
Apple’s App Store and Google Play each have their own, dedicated support pages that provide additional details on what takes place when apps go offline, including policies for refunds that we are operating in accordance with.

UPDATE MAINTENANCE HAS ENDED!
Patch Notes Bug Fix Update!
- Fixed that some T5 Units did not have any health, which caused error messages when trying to use them. Affected was for example:
- T5 Epic Cangacian Command ship
- Fixed that the T5 Destroyer used T4 turrets instead of T5 ones
- This was only a visual issue and did not affect the gameplay
- Fixed that the Ore Refining Yield as well as the Crystal Refining Yield research increased the cost of Refining instead of reducing it
- Fixed that the T5 Mass Driver Reload Speed research was not accessible for you, as it required you to have another T5 research completed.
- Fixed that you were able to buy some research projects in the market more than once.

Hello Commanders!
With this message, I want to inform you that I will be leaving Stratosphere Games and the project due to personal reasons. This was a difficult decision, as working with this incredible community has truly been the best job I've ever had.
It was a pleasure to be your Community Manager for over 2 years. You were the most passionate community I have ever worked with.
Seeing Memes develop (I still have a plush Orang Utan at home) and having fun banter every day put a smile on my face, almost every day. I will miss talking bad about Kiith Kaalel, listening to PZKs ramblings on Community Thursday, and replacing "lost ships because of disconnects".
I especially want to thank all of the people who took part in Community Thursday almost every week. This always was one of the highlights of my week. Even if some of the feedback I received was sometimes a bit harsh, I appreciated your passion.
I also want to bow before the game dev team who always listened to the feedback from the community and were eager to make quick changes. I also want to thank your publishing partners who always were eager to listen to my suggestions and helped me to get them ready as quickly as possible. A special shoutout goes out to Manni without whom this community would have never existed as well as Peter and Sebastian who helped me during the Community Thursday
Homeworld Mobile will always hold a special place in my heart, being the first game I professionally worked on. I'll never forget the experiences and the friendships we've built. Thank you for being such a positive force in this community! I truly hope you'll continue to support the Homeworld franchise.
If you need any support, from next week onwards you can either message Gearbox Customer Support or ping our Fleet Intelligence.
Kaalel still sucks,
Sören

Epilogue: The Last Echoes of Homeworld Mobile
In the waning days of the once-thriving Homeworld Mobile discord server, a digital ghost town began to emerge from the shadows of silence. The vibrant channels, once bustling with the chatter of eager players, were now being closed one by one, like the final flickers of a dying star.
The general chat, once the heart of the community, echoed with the last few farewells. Players who had spent countless hours together, strategizing, celebrating victories, and consoling each other in defeat, were now parting ways. Their avatars, once symbols of their in-game personas, faded into the void of the internet.
As the server's activity dwindled, the once-pinned messages of grand updates and events were unpinned, drifting away into the archives like forgotten lore. The strategy channels, once filled with the fervent typing of tactical geniuses, lay dormant, their last messages a testament to the game's final days.
And there, amidst the digital decay, stood Dalco. Unyielding, the bot's automated messages continued to remind everyone to complete their dailies, a routine that had become a part of their lives. It was a poignant reminder of what once was—a server full of life and camaraderie.
But as the final channel closed and the last player logged off, the Homeworld Mobile discord server became a relic of the past. A memory, cherished by those who were part of it, preserved in the annals of gaming history.

In 30-days, on October 30, we will be shutting down the Homeworld Mobile discord server. Thank you for your support with Homeworld Mobile, and your appreciation for Homeworld.
