隨著蘋果（Apple）的 iOS 14.5 作業系統正式上線，也同步帶來了許多用戶最想要的功能「App 追蹤透明度（App Tracking Transparency）」，這項功能要求應用程式開發商們，在沒有獲得用戶允許的情況下，不得以任何形式追蹤用戶數據。

而長期依賴收集用戶數據為生的 Facebook 與 Instagram 現在想到一個方式，就是在應用程式偵測到 iOS 用戶已經更新到 iOS 14.5 時，會跳出訊息、並要求用戶讓他們可以繼續收集你的數據，以協助這兩個應用程式得已繼續提供「免費」服務。
