HPO is not a free airdrop
This has been clearly mentioned in our Hipo Docs. The discount was designed to support those who believe in Hipo’s long-term value and are willing to contribute by paying a reduced price.

Rewarding long-term holders with discounts
We’re offering discounted access to long-term community members — not to short-term dumpers. Hipo Club provides 20% to 70% discounts based on member levels.

We heard you on the pricing issue
Some of you noticed a big gap between the claim price and the market price. This is a valid concern.

Why is this happening?
Currently, it’s technically not feasible to pull real-time prices for each claim. The DeFi liquidity is still shallow, and any buy/sell affects the price significantly due to low depth.

Why not add liquidity?
As a small team, we don’t yet have the resources to fully support deep liquidity. This phase is an opportunity for early believers to join before big players come in.

What’s the solution?
We now totally understand the current pricing method isn't fully clear. We're exploring solutions for future seasons — including DAO voting to let HPO holders help set claim prices. We’re also open to your ideas.

Why a Snapshot Was Necessary

During the early claim waves, some users sold their HPO immediately, creating artificial downward pressure on the token price. If we allowed every subsequent claim to follow the market price, we’d risk entering a destructive loop:
▪️Each new claim would further devalue the previous ones.
▪️Over time, the token would lose its meaning and utility.
This cycle has caused many tokens to fail post-airdrop.

To prevent that, we introduced a snapshot-based claim price to ensure:

Fairness: Early supporters aren’t penalized.
Stability: We avoid a race to the bottom.
Sustainability: Liquidity isn't wasted defending unsustainable discounts.

HPO Is for Long-Term Builders

HPO is not a free airdrop. It’s a governance and profit-sharing token meant for those who want to actively shape Hipo’s future.

If you’re here for a quick flip, HPO may not be the right fit. But if you believe in the long-term potential of our platform and want to be part of something meaningful — you're in the right place.

Why We Don’t Stabilize Price Immediately

All TON collected through Hipo Club claims goes directly to the Hipo Fund, governed transparently and on-chain by the community.
Our experience in Season 1 taught us that trying to defend the price during the 72-hour claim window was inefficient and costly — early sellers could drain community funds, harming long-term believers.

Instead, we’re using resources more wisely, allowing the Hipo Fund to support HPO in a more strategic, long-term manner.

Why Not Just Buy HPO Cheaper on the Market?

You absolutely can. The open market is available to everyone, and you’re free to buy, sell, or transfer as you wish. But Hipo Club isn’t just about getting HPO cheaper — it’s about joining a growing community, unlocking future benefits, and leveling up your status.

We chose a snapshot and fixed price instead of using the market price because the current HPO DeFi pool has limited liquidity.
Using market price could allow early claimers to dump on others, creating unfair opportunities and harming long-term holders.

We hear your feedback and truly appreciate the thoughtful discussions in Hipo Chat — from OTC suggestions to revenue distribution and DAO-based pricing.
