Before anyone goes all bananarama on Trump for his plans to attend the Pope’s funeral, it’s not about the Pope. He’s dead and off to be sorted. It’s about supporting the faithful, and it is expected by heads of state.
To skip the funeral would just make Trump seem disingenuous about his faith and give the left and religious right something to bitch about.
Before anyone goes all bananarama on Trump for his plans to attend the Pope’s funeral, it’s not about the Pope. He’s dead and off to be sorted. It’s about supporting the faithful, and it is expected by heads of state.
