i've read people online saying that "heartstopper is good but unrealistic, just made to be sweet".
honestly i don't understand how that's the case, there's nothing physically impossible in the series and all the characters have their own load of problems... saying it means having never seen a healthy relationship irl before (i understand the sentiment but healthy relationships are not unrealistic). i think it's a good series because it shows that there's hope for queer people to be loved
