Freedom of speech is under attack in Australia.

Over recent years, state and federal governments have introduced an unprecedented wave of laws restricting speech, political expression and association.

A government must be disciplined and restrained in its propagandising

Jew Josh Frydenberg is not satisfied with only the banning of White Australia and Hizb ut-Tahir, but wants to see other groups and organisations banned as well.

They will never be satisfied until even the most vaguely patriotic organisations are banned.

They want to eventually use this legislation to ban their entire nationalistic political opposition.

When actual leaders, organisers and activists are censored off of X, this is the discourse you end up with: a bunch of performative, do-nothing internet tough guys whose contribution to the movement amounts to some pontification about how demonstrating against laws that criminalise Fascism is actually what the system wants you to do.

So much chatter, yet so little common sense – they are scared that Jews and Greens and Laborites are going to show up to the free speech rally. How willingly stupid do you have to be to imagine that this would ever happen? You could offer our enemies 100 dollars per person to show up and they still wouldn’t. The Free Speech Union's Cuck-in-Chief, Dr. Reuben Kirkham, says that the barristers acting for the White Australia Party aren't doing a good job, and that they need to be saved by his organisation's intervention. An issue with the arguments, which he considers bemusing, is this: that the barristers don't dispute that the Commonwealth Parliament can enact constitutionally valid laws — even ones we disagree with.

That is a point that has to be made considering the Commonwealth’s barristers have included 9000 pages worth of documents talking about racism and anti-Semitism in Australia. The WAP’s barristers are basically saying that these documents are not relevant to the law’s constitutional validity.

I don't understand why he continues to snipe at the people who are arguing on the same side of this issue — for freedom — especially when the criticisms amount to laughable assertions like "the Nazis are attention-seeking with this court case" and "the stupid Nazis think the parliament is allowed to legislate in accordance with the constitution."

But that doesn’t change the fact that liberal democracy is dead because the majority of parliamentarians agree with disenfranchising those whom they consider haters and believe it is somehow consistent with liberal democracy.
