🟢الحمدُ للهِ ربِّ العالمين، والصلاةُ والسلامُ على نبيِّنا محمدٍ ﷺ.
أمَّا بعد:

فَإِنَّ مِنْ أَعْظَمِ مَا يُعَمِّرُ بِهِ الْعَبْدُ وَقْتَهُ ذِكْرُ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى، فَإِنَّ التَّسْبِيحَ وَالتَّحْمِيدَ وَالتَّهْلِيلَ وَالتَّكْبِيرَ كَلِمَاتٌ مُبَارَكَاتٌ، يَبْقَى أَجْرُهَا لِلْعَبْدِ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى.

وقد قال النبيُّ ﷺ: «إنَّ ممَّا تذكرونَ مِن جلالِ اللهِ: التسبيحَ والتهليلَ والتحميدَ، ينعطفْنَ حولَ العرشِ، لهنَّ دويٌّ كدويِّ النحلِ، تُذكِّرُ بصاحبِها، أما يُحبُّ أحدُكم أن يكونَ له ـ أو لا يزالَ له ـ مَن يُذكَرُ به؟»

فأكثروا ـ رحمكمُ اللهُ ـ مِن ذِكرِه سبحانه في هذه الأيامِ الفاضلةِ، فإنها مواسمُ سريعةُ الانقضاءِ، والسعيدُ مَن وُفِّقَ فيها لطاعةٍ مقبولةٍ.

نسألُ اللهَ لنا ولكمُ الهدى والتوفيقَ والثباتَ على الحقِّ حتى نلقاه.

🟢Among the greatest ways a believer may spend his days is by remembering Allah. Indeed, glorifying Allah, praising Him, declaring that none has the right to be worshipped except Him, and proclaiming His greatness are blessed words whose reward and remembrance remain with Allah.

The Prophet ﷺ said: “Among the words by which you remember the Majesty of Allah are: ‘Glory be to Allah,’ ‘All praise is due to Allah,’ ‘None has the right to be worshipped except Allah,’ and ‘Allah is the Greatest.’ They circle around the Throne with a sound like the buzzing of bees, reminding Allah of the one who said them...”

So increase, may Allah have mercy upon you, in the remembrance of Allah during these blessed days, for they pass quickly, and the successful one is the one whom Allah grants acceptance in obedience.

We ask Allah to grant us and you guidance, steadfastness, and firmness upon the truth until we meet Him.

وبالجنّة فائزين،
وأن يمدّ في أعمارنا على طاعته، ويُحسّن لنا الخواتيم.

▫️قال رسول الله ﷺ: «لا يشكرُ اللهَ من لا يشكرُ الناسَ».

الحمدُ لله حمدًا كثيرًا طيبًا مباركًا فيه؛ فقد أعلنت المملكة العربية السعودية رسميًا نجاحَ موسم حجِّ ١٤٤٧هـ. وهذا النجاحُ من توفيق الله عز وجل أولًا، ثم ثمرةُ الجهود الجبارة التي بُذلت في خدمة ضيوف الرحمن، فلله درُّهم، وعلى الله أجرُهم.

نسأل الله أن يجزيهم خيرَ الجزاء، وأن يجعل ما يقدمونه في ميزان حسناتهم.

▫️The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Whoever does not thank people does not thank Allah.”

All praise is due to Allah, abundant, pure, and blessed praise. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has officially announced the successful completion of the 1447 AH Hajj season. This success is, first and foremost, by the grace and guidance of Allah Almighty, and then the fruit of the tremendous efforts exerted in serving the pilgrims. They are truly deserving of praise, and their reward is with Allah.

We ask Allah to reward them with the best reward, and to place all that they have provided and accomplished in the scale of their good deeds.

ونسأل الله تعالى التوفيق والسداد والعون.

We ask Allah Almighty for success, guidance, and support.

▫️«مَنْ وُفِّقَ لِلْعِلْمِ فَلَا يَتْرُكْهُ»

يا طالِبَ العِلْمِ، إنَّ مِن أعظَمِ الخُذلانِ أنْ يَفتَحَ اللهُ لكَ بابَ العِلْمِ ثُمَّ تَنصَرِفَ عنه، ومِن أعظَمِ التَّوفيقِ أنْ يُثَبِّتَكَ اللهُ عليه حتَّى تَلقاه. قال اللهُ تعالى: ﴿وَقُلْ رَبِّ زِدْنِي عِلْمًا﴾، فلم يَأمُرِ اللهُ نَبِيَّهُ ﷺ بطَلَبِ الزِّيادَةِ مِن شيءٍ كما أمَرَهُ بطَلَبِ الزِّيادَةِ مِن العِلْمِ. وقال رسولُ اللهِ ﷺ: «مَن سَلَكَ طَريقًا يَلتَمِسُ فيه عِلْمًا سَهَّلَ اللهُ لهُ بهِ طَريقًا إلى الجَنَّةِ». وقال عبد الله بن المبارك: «لا يَزالُ المَرءُ عالِمًا ما طَلَبَ العِلْمَ، فإذا ظَنَّ أنَّهُ قد عَلِمَ فقد جَهِلَ».

فاثبُتْ على طَريقِ العِلْمِ ولا تَمَلَّ، واصبِرْ ولا تَتَراجَعْ، فإنَّ ساعاتِ التَّعَبِ تَذهَبُ، ويَبقى شَرَفُ العِلْمِ ورِفعَةُ أهلِهِ. ومَن وَفَّقَهُ اللهُ للعِلْمِ ثُمَّ تَرَكَهُ فقد فَرَّطَ في نِعمَةٍ عَظيمَةٍ، ومَن لازَمَهُ وصَبَرَ عليه بَلَغَ – بإذنِ اللهِ – مَنازِلَ لا يَبلُغُها أهلُ الكَسَلِ والدَّعَةِ.

فالعِلْمُ عِبادَةٌ، وشَرَفٌ، ورِفعَةٌ، ونورٌ يَقودُ إلى مَرضاةِ اللهِ، ومِنحَةٌ لا يُؤتاها إلَّا مَن أرادَ اللهُ بهِ خَيرًا. فارفَعْ هِمَّتَكَ، واصدُقْ في طَلَبِكَ، فإنَّ ما عِندَ اللهِ لا يُنالُ بِراحَةِ الجَسَدِ، ومَن صَبَرَ على مَشَقَّةِ التَّعَلُّمِ ذاقَ حَلاوَةَ الثَّمَرَةِ، ونالَ رِفعَةَ الدُّنيا والآخِرَةِ.

وخِتامُ ذلك ما قاله عبد الله بن مسعود رضي الله عنه: «اغْدُ عالِمًا أو مُتَعَلِّمًا، ولا تَغْدُ إمَّعَةً بَينَ ذلك».

وَاللهُ المُسْتَعَانُ، وَعَلَيْهِ التُّكْلَانُ، وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ.

▫️Whoever Is Blessed with Seeking Knowledge Should Never Abandon It

O seeker of knowledge, one of the greatest forms of deprivation is for Allah to open for you the door of knowledge and then for you to turn away from it. And one of the greatest blessings is for Allah to keep you steadfast upon it until you meet Him.
Allah, the Most High, says: “And say: My Lord, increase me in knowledge.”
Allah did not command His Prophet ﷺ to ask for an increase in anything as He commanded him to ask for an increase in knowledge.

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Whoever follows a path in pursuit of knowledge, Allah will make easy for him a path to Paradise.”

And Abdullah ibn al-Mubarak said: “A person remains knowledgeable as long as he continues seeking knowledge; but when he thinks he has acquired knowledge, he has become ignorant.”

So remain steadfast upon the path of knowledge and do not grow weary. Be patient and do not retreat, for the hours of hardship pass away, while the honor of knowledge and the nobility of its people remain.

Whoever Allah blesses with knowledge and then abandons it has neglected a tremendous blessing. But whoever remains committed to it and perseveres, by Allah’s permission, will attain ranks that the lazy and comfort-seeking can never reach.

Knowledge is an act of worship, a source of honor and elevation, and a light that leads to the pleasure of Allah. It is a gift granted only to those for whom Allah intends good.

Therefore, raise your aspirations and be sincere in your pursuit, for what is with Allah cannot be attained through ease and comfort. Whoever endures the hardships of learning will taste the sweetness of its fruits and attain honor in both this world and the Hereafter.

And to conclude, Abdullah ibn Mas'ud said: “Be either a scholar or a learner, and do not be one who merely follows others blindly.”

And Allah is the One whose help is sought, upon Him we rely, and there is no power nor strength except by Allah.

▫️فَضْلُ صِيَامِ عَاشُورَاءَ

الحمد لله ربِّ العالمين، والصلاة والسلام على نبينا محمد، وعلى آله وصحبه أجمعين.
أما بعد:

فإن صيام يوم عاشوراء من السُّنَن الثابتة عن النبي ﷺ، وقد دلت عليه الأحاديث الصحيحة، وبيَّن النبي ﷺ فضله ومنزلته.
ومن ذلك ما ثبت عن الصحابي الجليل عبد الله بن عباس رضي الله عنهما، قال: «ما رأيت النبي ﷺ يتحرَّى صيام يوم فضَّله على غيره إلا هذا اليوم يوم عاشوراء، وهذا الشهر يعني رمضان».

وهذا يدل على أن النبي ﷺ كان يتحرَّى صيامه، أي يتقصَّده ويحرص عليه لما فيه من الفضل. وقد ثبت في صحيح مسلم أن النبي ﷺ سُئل عن صيام عاشوراء فقال: «يكفِّر السنة التي قبله».

مراتب صيام عاشوراء:
1- الأكمل عند أكثر أهل العلم: صيام التاسع مع العاشر؛ لقول النبي ﷺ: «لئن بقيتُ إلى قابل لأصومنَّ التاسع».

2- دونه: إفراد يوم عاشوراء بالصيام، وهو ثابت الفضل بقوله ﷺ:ً«يكفِّر السنة التي قبله».

وعلى هذا؛ فإن المشروع للمسلم أن يحرص على هذه السُّنَّة العظيمة، وأن يحقق الاتباع والإخلاص، فإن العمل لا يُقبل إلا بهما.

والله أعلم.

▫️Virtue of Fasting on the Day of Ashura

Fasting on the day of Ashura is among the established Sunnah practices of the Prophet ﷺ, and authentic hadiths have indicated its virtue and status. The Prophet ﷺ also clarified its merit and position.
Among that is what has been authentically reported from the noble Companion Abdullah ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: “I never saw the Prophet ﷺ so keen on fasting a day that he preferred over others except this day, the day of Ashura, and this month, meaning Ramadan.”

This indicates that the Prophet ﷺ was keen to fast it, meaning he intentionally sought it out and was eager for it due to its great virtue. It has also been authentically reported in Sahih Muslim that the Prophet ﷺ was asked about fasting on the day of Ashura, and he said: “It expiates the sins of the previous year.”

Levels of fasting on the day of Ashura:
1) The most complete, according to most scholars: fasting the ninth day along with the tenth; based on the saying of the Prophet ﷺ: “If I live until next year, I will surely fast the ninth.”

2) Less than that: fasting the day of Ashura alone, and its virtue is established by his saying ﷺ: “It expiates the sins of the previous year.”

Accordingly, it is prescribed for the Muslim to be keen upon this great Sunnah, and to achieve following the Prophet ﷺ and sincerity, for deeds are not accepted except with them.

And Allah knows best.

🟢أَحْيُوا سُنَّةَ نَبِيِّكُمْ ﷺ

تَذْكِرَةٌ بِصِيَامِ التَّاسِعِ مِنْ مُحَرَّم (الأَرْبِعَاء ٢٥ يُونْيُو): ثَبَتَ عَنْهُ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: «لَئِنْ بَقِيتُ إِلَى قَابِلٍ لَأَصُومَنَّ التَّاسِعَ» اسْتِحْبَابًا لِمُخَالَفَةِ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ.

وَتَذْكِرَةٌ بِصِيَامِ عَاشُورَاءَ، العَاشِرِ مِنْ مُحَرَّم (الخَمِيس ٢٦ يُونْيُو): قَالَ ﷺ: «صِيَامُ يَوْمِ عَاشُورَاءَ أَحْتَسِبُ عَلَى اللَّهِ أَنْ يُكَفِّرَ السَّنَةَ الَّتِي قَبْلَهُ».

أَعَانَنَا اللَّهُ وَإِيَّاكُمْ عَلَى طَاعَتِهِ، وَرَزَقَنَا وَإِيَّاكُمْ الْقَبُولَ.

🟢Revive the Sunnah of your Prophet ﷺ

A reminder to fast on the 9th of Muḥarram (Wednesday, 25 June): it is authentically reported that the Prophet ﷺ said, “If I live until next year, I will certainly fast the ninth day,” as an encouragement to differ from the People of the Book.

And a reminder to fast on the Day Ashura, the 10th of Muḥarram (Thursday, 26 June): the Prophet ﷺ said, “Fasting the Day of Ashura, I hope from Allah that it will expiate the sins of the previous year.”

May Allah help us in obeying Him, and grant us acceptance.
