On January 11, a Telegram channel with the unique 3-C username — @NFT — appeared.

❗️ Recently, there have been rumors that the owner of @NFT is the Canadian investor @dope — that’s not entirely accurate, at least, this information hasn’t been confirmed.

The owner of @crypto and other Telegram projects did in fact own the @ NFT username — but not on Telegram, on Instagram. However, that account was later banned. The mention that he owns @ NFT has been in his bio since at least 2023, back when the Telegram channel didn’t even exist.

Most likely, the @NFT Telegram channel was created by the messenger’s team as part of the NFT gifts integration.

Or… could it be a subtle response from Pavel Durov to @dope?
