Rethymno Carnival 2025 “opens its curtain”

Yesterday, February 20, the Hellenic Meteorological Service issued a new emergency weather bulletin.
An intense cold wave called "Coral" will continue to affect Greece until Monday, bringing low temperatures, gusty northerly winds and snowfall.
In the Aegean Sea, hurricane-force northerly winds of 7 to 8 on the Beaufort scale will prevail, while local snowfalls, mostly light, are expected on the eastern mainland, the Aegean islands and Crete.
