Rethymno Carnival 2025 “opens its curtain”

An intense cold wave called "Coral" will continue to affect Greece until Monday, bringing low temperatures, gusty northerly winds and snowfall.
In the Aegean Sea, hurricane-force northerly winds of 7 to 8 on the Beaufort scale will prevail, while local snowfalls, mostly light, are expected on the eastern mainland, the Aegean islands and Crete.
