And Nazism
And the war remembers
The ruins, the massacres, the hunger and the misery
The crash of bombs and the crying of mothers
Remember Buchenwald
Gas chambers, crematoria
And all this
Explain your children
And to your children's children
Not because hatred and revenge last
But so that they know well what an immense good
Is freedom
And have them learn to love it
And keep it intact
And always defend it.
