A post promoting $GOLD appeared on โ€˜realtrumpcoins1,โ€™ an account followed by the official Trump account and linked as a merchandise partner to the Trump Organization.

$Gold then EXPLODED to nearly $60M in market cap before the post was deleted, sending the token from $60M to just $600K in a single candle, flagged by lookonchain

The team made $1Million+ in fees and sold its entire 82.5% token bundle, locking in another $317K in profit.

Users of Robinhood Wallet and social trading app Fomo are buying memecoins with Visa and Mastercard credit cards, Apple Pay or Google Pay, directly through Crossmint, without even a separate KYC check.

The Blockโ€™s tests found the purchases were classified as โ€œdigital goods/mediaโ€ instead of crypto transactions, allowing users to earn credit card points or cash back.

Chase says the transactions were incorrectly classified and has asked Visa to investigate, while the New York Attorney Generalโ€™s Office is also reviewing the matter.
