Understanding stablecoins in the current crypto bear phase is a MUST.

Some stables you already know like Tether (#USDT) and USD Coin (#USDC) who have recovered smartly after being getting de-pegged from the US Dollar, while some like the Terra (#UST) crash has quashed the belief that stablecoins are stable after having wiped off billions of dollars of investor capital.

On Friday, Ethereum Foundation's Tim Beiko projected that the so-called merge — the transition to proof-of-stake — may take place in mid-September.
Why it matters 💭
a) ETH is HUGE. As of the moment is holds $183,754,298,390 market cap. The positive news on ETH make the whole crypto market more enthusiastic despite the recent crypto winter.
b) Ethereum’s imminent transition to a proof-of-stake consensus mechanism will transform its monetary policy, potentially making ETH more scarce than Bitcoin.

2️⃣ Remember man who threw away 7,500 Bitcoins? Now, he has new plan to recover his fortune. Check it out!
James Howells, the British engineer who accidentally threw away a hard drive with 7,500 Bitcoins all the way back in 2013 revealed that his new plan to retrieve the coins now involves two Spot robot dogs produced by American robotics design company Boston Dynamics.
The two robot dogs will be responsible for scanning a landfill, well, good luck 🙂

What Does It Signal if anything?
