You probably canβt stop hearing about it in startup pitches, in earnings reports, some companies are creating metaverse divisions, and Mark Zuckerberg changed Facebookβs name to Meta to signal that heβs shifting the entire company to focus on the metaverse.
But is it going to suck or hit the moon?
Overall, βthe metaverse is almost entirely hype and baloney right now,β said Philip Rosedale.
1οΈβ£ Let's check if the hype is real β for companies that are touting themselves as metaverses β like Decentraland, The Sandbox and Cryptovoxels, they are so far reporting very low monthly active users compared with their counterparts in gaming:
- Decentraland has about 300,000
- The Sandbox 30,000
- Cryptovoxels counted less than 25,000 visits to its most popular digital land parcel.
PlayStation, by comparison, had 111 million monthly active users and Roblox attracts nearly 50 million users every day.

"Crypto market cycles, on average, last ~4 years or approximately 1,275 days."

"We may see another ~250 days of high-value buying opportunities when compared to previous cycles."

6. franklinisbored lost his 100 ETH in the process.
7. He is now asking for the buyer to return his 100 ETH thru a letter.
8.He also sent back the 1.9 ETH to him.
