It's a new year and the market is going sideways. A typical day in the crypto sphere. We decided why not use this opportunity to teach you all about one of most important aspects of being a day trader.
Keep in mind that if you use a position size for your trades, RISKING only 1% of your Portfolio per trade aiming for a RISK:REWARD of 1:3, your Breakeven Win Rate is 25%...
This means that you can actually lose 75 times out of 100 trades and win only 25 without being in loss. You would break even.
If you improve your win ratio to 50 winning trades out of 100 (still aiming for 1:3 R:R) and lose same amount of trades (50), you will still double up your portfolio which will be 100% up!!!
Let's do the math (this is not a compound strategy example):
My portfolio is worth $10,000. I want to make 100 trades with R:R=1:3 so 1% RISK ($100) to win 3 times REWARD ($300).
First 50 trades are winners then the other 50 trades are losers.
👑 Portfolio = $10,000
😁 50 win trades * $300 = $15,000
😪 50 losers trades * $100 = -$5,000
🤑 $10,000+$15,000-$5000= $20,000 (My portfolio is now 100% UP and I lost 50 trades out of 100!!!)

Bitcoin - 25%
Experts will argue on this one because most reccommeded having at least one-third of the portfolio in BTC but as I said we have a bear year at hand and I expect lower lows to come.
Ethereum - 10%
This giant isn't dead yet. The upgrades in protocol Buterin has promised surely makes it worth holding.
Dollar - 15%
Now you probably would wanna laugh at my face for having fiat in the portfolio. But I have a strong feeling that the first quarter will be bearish so it's best to keep adding in the dip.
Binance coin - 10%
Do you actually need an explanation for this? Bish it's the coin of the year
Waves - 10%
This coin has been all over the news lately and purely for good reasons. The platform coin has a bright year ahead.
Tron - 10%
Tron has had to face a shot ton of memes but Justin Sun has proved that he is here to stay. The uTorrent and all amazing updates he has been sending in has surely given the token a boost. 2019 seems to be a prominent year for this one.
Polymath - 5%
Security tokens are on the rise but this one has always caught the attention of the critics. Only because of its tireless team who have done great at the protocol.
Wanchain - 5%
Now I might be slightly biased towards this one. But which community wouldn't like a team that completes roadmap in time? They have always kept up with the promises and a hell lot of amazing things ahead for them.
Ripple - 5%
The bankster's coin. I know it's centralized and other things but with the amount of acceptance it has gained with the big wigs toy surely wouldn't wanna miss this pick.
Stellar - 5%
Yeah I do have a soft corner for this one. They have an amazing project that has huge potential only because of the technology they are adopting. Also they have lately been in a lot of talks by the Silicon Valley.

Ripple 4H Long Call
Ripple has shown great stability as compared to the other alts in the top 10 and has also come in great news with Visa taking over Ripple's Partner.
Going by the chart I see that the 50 MA and the 100 MA could have a cross in a couple of hours and in turn make a bullish swing. We have some overhead resistance at the 40 cents mark.
MACD is also showing bullish divergence. All in all it seems to be a bullish scenario. Load in the LONGS and ensure you keep the R:R in mind.

Ethereum has no stopping Binance just confirmed they will be supporting the fork. What's better? Also the chart looks juicy AF. Looks like $150 was a joke. I see an Elliott Wave that extends to $215 levels you better know what we are looking at.

Now at this point of time I would say it's a rekt rekt situation. No clear bull or bear. Either was if you long the manipulation will probably kick you out and have a bad trade, If you were to short you would regret the scammy Bitmex making a short squeeze.

EOS/USD 4H Consolidating
The EOS team would've be on cloud nine when when the Chinise analysis from a centralized source gave them the best platform rating and ranked them over Ethereum.
As for the charts there seems to be consolidation on the 4 hour time frame. We have seen a nice bounce from the 50 MA and are sticking well between $1.80 and $3.40. We can see that once we break from the Triangle in the upward direction we can see a nice bull run set up for EOS. There are a lot of supports in the bottom and minimalistic resistance at higher levels.
Thus once bullish is confirmed we could possibly rally near $5.

On Monday 7th January 2019, Bitfinex will be offline between three to seven hours as they complete the final stage of data migration to dedicated bare-metal servers, in a move designed to significantly enhance platform speed, security and performance and so on.

Now what's key about this is that the market shifts towards the direction it breaks-out from. In that sense if we brake above the triange this trade is in play. But if we dont then we short.
I reccomend using onlky a small fraction of your portfolio as tomorrow is January 7 2019 which is also a Monday meaning the Weekly will close soon and I expect some price action there. Save the high Leveraged trades for tomorrow.
