Alright, we have a move to work with. I have been watching charts and scouting Alts all weekend, but it's all for not if BTC doesn't play along.
#BTC has "dumped" so to say, or that's what you see people talking about. Some $40mil worth of long positions got licked earlier today, but we have taken our fill on this move. Entry calls at $10 100 have been filled. Price was about $60 short of the second entry at 10k.
BTC Dominance has crossed a significant line. The 25MA has held this uptrend in check. It has now been crossed definitively. Ethereum is showing strength on the USD pair. Could the correlation be breaking?
The market is still very much at a precipice, fear greed has been at a standstill for weeks now. Traders have been slightly fearful over this period with average readings clearly at about 40% Fear.
RSI scanner is looking pretty uneventful. Only the top 4 currencies are pulling in more than 2000BTC volume for the day. #BNB is tops and its flat as could be. #EOS is cooling off a bit after the rush late last week. #LINK is rising and could be a buy signal there. #XRP seems to have had a pitiful response to the BTC dump. This isn't altogether bad news, could the correlation also be breaking on Ripple?

The dynamics of the markets have changed this week. The rules that we have had to adapt to and trade by over the course of this year have shifted, and for the better. This is a much more exciting market to be trading, even though we will have to relearn the new patterns for this cycle.
I don't have the exact metrics for you right now, but the top 10 crypto coin have easily made up over 100% combined gains over bitcoin this week, while the king stagnated. This is a clear signal that fresh money has started coming into the market. A quick look at the market cap confirms this.
It's been a while since I have charted market cap, but it's high time we get a handle on the moves here. With BTC up at 70% the graph should look a lot like the BTC chart itself. This correlation seems to have been thoroughly shifted after this weeks trading. For now we will remain bullish on Alts, but we'll be targeting retests with limit orders on the breakout levels we have been watching shoot off all week.
