Happy Hardcore music gets to the grand finals of Eurovision with Joost Klein - Europapa

I don't know if this is the right subreddit to talk about Eurovision but today I watched the semifinals and I loved so much that the Netherlands managed to bring hardcore and get so much love to even pass to the grand finals. Not only that but I've seen the official video of the song was posted 2 months ago and got 25 million views in no time, becoming one of the most viewed Eurovision songs of 2024. I also just realized the song was also co-produced (or produced, I don't know) by Paul Elstak, crazy stuff. I'm not even Dutch, but I'm just so proud to see hardcore being so loved in Eurovision and I gave all my votes to the Netherlands without thinking twice (the hakk at 2:18 in the official video is so fun to watch <3)
What's something you didn't bring to your first festival you wish you would've?

Gonna be going to Defqon next month, it's also gonna be my first harder styles event, and festival in general.
I always forget one small thing every vacation I go on. What's something you didn't bring to your first festival, but now can't live without after your experiences? I wanna
make sure I'm covered on anything I may not be expecting. I'm definitely not forgetting sunscreen. As a redhead, I would be suffering just after Friday.

a few tracks like PN’s masquerade and many of riot shifts start off sounding v different but quickly transition to their hardstyle sounds. what are some tracks that have that kind of vibe?

This song was super popular among anime kids for the edits so it's a bit of a meme similar to the gym songs. But I feel like this one is a way more artistic and well made, and also came out like 6 years ago. I sort of have a weird history with hardstyle but I find this sort of semi rapping over hardstyle to be a really cool idea and am surprised I haven't seen more of it given how popular this song was.
Opinions on the Intents Anthem?
https://redd.it/1cp12dg
by @hardstylemulti
IMO the 2nd drop & melody are perfect for the anthem and I think one of the best Melodies around lately. I just don't think that Rooler's style is very well fit for an anthem like this. I like the song in general, but the first and 3rd drop don't feel like anthem drops to me. Curious to hear your thoughts
Who are you trusting with making a great anthem?

Not who you think deserves to make an anthem because they’ve put out some good hits recently, but someone who you know, without fail, will put out something great.
For me, its Headhunterz. I know he’s been thrown a lot of criticism in recent years but no one can deny that his anthems are legendary. He’s been in the game for so long and knows the elements of a great track that stand the test of time.
