This is what an honest and consistent proponent of Enlightenment liberalism looks like.

Liberal political ideology is hostile to marriage, family, religion, and the nation because all involve social bonds that impose duties to others.

These duties significantly limit individual liberty.

Liberalism does not destroy marriage, family, religion, and the nation immediately, as this would cause too much political resistance.

So it slowly dissolves these institutions and their constitutive social bonds in a step by step process.

Every step confers a new "freedom" or "human right."

We have now reached the stage where liberal governments feel that the population will accept complete elimination of social bonds between parents and children.

This will, of course, be hailed as a triumph for "children's human rights."

Israel already has had strong control over the Middle East.

By eliminating Hezbollah, they consolidate that control.

You thought things were bad with tyrants pushing secularism, jailing scholars, the abrahamic religion, Hindu temples, Halloween, rock concerts? You thought things were bad with al-Azhar and other Islamic educational centers pushing universalist kufr, feminism, and reform?

Expect all of that to get 1000 times worse.

Without militant groups holding Israel at bay, distracting them, keeping them afraid, Israel will dedicate far more attention and resources to go full throttle to destroy Islam and repress religious Muslims in the Middle East and around the world.

Only the most mentally retarded think that the elimination of Hezbollah is a time to celebrate.

All of those Muslims who were oppressed and killed by Hezbollah will be oppressed and killed at 1000 times the rate by Israel. If you don't believe it, look at Gaza. That's the future that we're facing right now.

Southern Lebanon is literally the brake blocking Israeli expansion into Syria and the capture of Damascus.

Israel's planned invasion and annexation of Southern Lebanon endangers Syrians more than any other people on Earth.

Meanwhile many who claim to care about Syrians are celebrating Israel's invasion rather than contemplating the actual implications of what is unfolding before their eyes.

Who exactly is going to prevent Israel from ethnically cleansing Syrians from the rest of Syria, as they have already cleansed them from the Golan Heights (i.e., the 100,000 Syrians expelled by Israel in 1967)?

Can anyone answer this basic question?
